why did this happen?
in my humble oppinion it is because PGI
has not chosen to give us a proper way to select a lance leader(any one can press the button if their reflexes are fast enough),
has not chosen to give us a sand box. so we use what we can as a sand box for testing strategies, tactics, mech builds, formations, and many other in game things that we would normally do in private instead of in a public match,
has not chosen to recognize that public matches are not the best way for a new person to learn how to play the game,
has not chosen to recognize that even experienced players need a place to practice the skills that make them top players,
has not chosen to realize that two seperate lances may have completely different ideas on what tactics strategies and mechs should be employed to destroy the enemy.
do I care that we took the loss. NO. but it highly offended the other half of our team that we were not going to take orders from an ego maniac whoose tactics were not suited to the style of play that our half of the lance employed.
In addition the amount of cursing in this game is entirely unaceptable. I will not be allowing my children to play it. not with the abusive language that is so prevalent in this game. PGI has by allowing this kind of abuse to continue given its tacit approval to such behavior. I dont care what kind of provocation is given abusive language is not aceptable.
even the implication of such words is not acceptable when it is being used to abuse another player.
I appologize if this sounds like PGI bashing. it is not my intent to simply " go off on PGI" I would like some sort of fix for these issues. PGI has in some cases done great things with this game. If I knew a better way to say these things I would certainly have chosen to do so in that manner. the fact remains that these issues are outstanding issues that require the attention of PGI. These are not issues the community can solve with out the intervention of PGI.
thank you for your time
