I still have not seen this map. Is it real?

Indeed. It's a Clanner trick

I still have yet to get it, after something like 50 matches. :)

I waited a while, but I think it was worth the wait. So refreshing not to see the enemy at their base. From your base.

If the game mode is assault just move to E5. It's pretty much right in the middle of any of the paths the other team could go, and it's near the center of the map itself. Just had a game earlier where both teams met up there and had a good ole' fashioned slug-fest. Was glorious.

Unless your team is going the other way...up and down, up and down, over every single mountain. This has happened in 4 out of about 5 I've been in so far on Alpine. People like the pretty new mountains, so they climb them I guess. The hills are alive with the sound of music.

The new battlemarch music for Alpine.

i feel like it's the least common map, i dropped it 3 times out of 18 games. ( i wrote it down.)

Technically you should get Alpine just as frequently as Caustic, as they're both the only two maps without an alternate version. I feel as if this should be rectified. Give us a snow version of Caustic, and a summer heat-wave version of Alpine.

3 times? And you think that's too few?

I just played for five hours, on and off, before the servers exploded. 29 games. I saw Alpine once.

[Addendum at 3:30am: A further eight games (37 total) produced no more Alpine sitings.]

The one I saw the most was Frozen City Night. Nine times. Nearly a third of my games this evening. At least it wasn't River City Night. Guess I can count my blessings there...

[Addendum at 3:30am: Three more Frozen City Nights.]

Yes, random includes even this possibility, but it really does start to feel -- from my and others' observations -- like the randomizer is a bit borked.

It's the Abominable Snow Map!
Some claim to have seen it, most disbelieve.

I can tell you one thing... it's definitely not a small map in a costume.
Behold, picture evidence.
