So is there seriously not a way to put in the exact amount of MC you want to use to convert xp over? Or an exact amount of XP you want to convert? Is the slider really the only way to do this? I tried using my mouse wheel but it goes from either 0 or to the max.

I'm trying to Spend 300 MC to convert 15000 xp to gxp, and the slider simply will not go to 300 (or 15000 gxp) with my mouse. I can get 296, 297, 304, 306... but never 300 MC. Please someone tell me there is a better way to do this, or is this just a cruel PGI joke?

I ended up doing 2 conversions to GXP and found a decent idea around the problem. Say you're willing to pay 600MC for the conversion, do it in two steps. First buy for a little over half, like 303MC, then buy again for 297MC which would make a total of 600.

It's just really hard for mechs you have a lot of xp in, but then again, that's the only type a mech you usually convert from anyway. But yeah it get's on my nerve sometimes :/
