You realize your premium time is also being used up when you sleep right? And that has nothing to do with PGI.

if it was a schedule maintenance that would be different. I think people should be reimbursed for their premium time when they figure this out.
I don't see how this is an entitlement issue cuz someone wants to be refunded for lost time they paid for.

The premium time used while I sleep is my perogative to sleep. The premium time wasted while trying to play as in now and much this evening needs reimbursement, as we paid for it.

Actually, your post was simply inflammatory and incorrect.
This is a server wide issue, not a problem that a single user is being effected by but most of the players online, so telling the player to notify support (of a matter they are already know of) is a pointless endeavor. Additionally the argument that: "Premium ticks down while your doing X" is not applicable to this situation as it is not PGI's fault that the consumer is doing something other than playing. However when there is a server outage (such as the one happening now) the responsibility lies with PGI especially when it is unscheduled and is adversely effecting the playerbase.
Your blather about "QQ" is unwarranted and unnecessary as it is not the player's fault. This also applies to the people crying entitlement. PGI sells us Premium Time, we use it when we play, but if we can't play because PGI's servers are down it is their duty to compensate the playerbase. To use an example! When you go to a Movie Theater, you are not entitled to a good movie, but you are entitled to the movie you paid for in its entirety. This is why whenever outside forces conspire to interrupt the movie (i.e. equipment failures, power outages, etc.) they are required to compensate you as they were unable to provide services they agreed to render.
Do you have any more worthless comments you'd like to toss my way?

I just HATE how they communicate through other social channels well before their own forums. I wouldn't use facebook if it were the last functioning website in the universe.
They posted on the forum around the same time and have given much more information here than on Facebook:

ROFL, the OP didnt "QQ" or whatever that means... <rolls eyes>
Looks like he simply stated a concern and asked what.. 3 questions?
I really wish the moderators would muzzle some of the prolific trolls around here...
trolls with post counts in the thousands who have contributed zero in the form of positive anything would be a start...

It was a DDoS attack on somebody else, not PGI. They don't have to do anything. They might be nice and do it, but it's not required. Also, just because they have done something for a similar situation previously doesn't mean they will do it for EVERY situation like that. There probably isn't an official policy on this, and even if there was, policies change all the time.
There is no guarantee for server uptime.
Just saying.

Pshaw! Sleep is for people with more blood in their veins than caffeine. Those are not true mechwarriors.
