Maybe even add some notification that such heat-induced suicide is going to result into the loss of C-Bill earnings and to the drop of player's Match Score. I am making this suggestion because if it happens that a player commits such suicide in the Academy, he will respawn in his fresh 'Mech again instantly - and this is something what would not happen in the actual mission.

Sadly, the usefulness of the report tool is virtually zilch. Some players openly mock others reporting them for nonparticipation reporting when they suicide out of a match. They know. They are frequently reported, but virtually never moderated for it. REPORT IT ANYWAY. And honestly, we could use a name-n-shame so we know who to watch out for.

Yeah, I can see that. Maybe not 'Most Damage' though. I'd say the game should track how much damage was done, by who, 5-10 seconds before the suicide, and if it's over a certain threshold, it should determine that person 'pushed' the suicide and earned the kill.

Trolls. You only get c-bills for damage and kills your mech does until it gets killed. Ten seconds in you're only be able to laser vomit and over heat or if you spawn close enough go out of bounds. i'm not aware of an event and since those are solo damage focused that wouldn't be a cause.

I think you should get kill assist if you didn't already and a special category of kill for the one who dealt most damage. You do get an assist...

If the enemy has 51% of their health pool still, and they suicide, the the most damage delt goes to the game system since it did 51% of the damage... And this probably gets awarded to the game system if it is the highest damage contributer among all who shot at said enemy mech?

The most simple solution to the idea a suicide makes it seem like no score is recorded, is to add KMDDs to scoring, or to do something more intensive, like have overheat damage attributed to the last enemy you shot rather than the player overheating.
