This is an idea I've had for awhile because after discussing how to best 'get started' in the game with a friend, the solution we came up with was rather awkward.

1) Try the game out with a dummy account. Play 25 games, buy mech, play, get used to it.
2) If he decides he like the game, he makes a new account to get the Cadet bonus again along with Premium and maybe a Hero mech.

So there's a rather unnecessary step there and the result is the same. Someone tries out the game (probably will -not- pay outright) and when they do buy premium, they miss out on the huge Cadet bonus boost. I know you get the most out of Hero + Premium + Cadet, but most people will not think of doing this right away.

A quick solution would be to enable all accounts who have not yet purchased Premium time to have their Cadet bonus reset. It will be an added incentive for non-payers to try out Premium time and buying MC in general.

You can explore splitting the bonus to first purchase of premium time and first purchase of Hero Mech or giving a separate bonus for each. Just for the sake of being complete, purchasing Premium with a new account can just extend the Cadet bonus.

Weapon Custom Modules
Upgrade SHS to improve trial mechs and some stock configs
Turn your favorite mech into a Hero mech
