All Crash and Stability related posts will be merged into this thread for simplified reference and overview.

Please attempt to respond to the following questions in your responses:
Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which?
Where in the game or menus did the crash occur?
What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring?
Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps?
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?

Still experiencing the CryAnimation: Command Buffer Overflow error from the last two patches.

Occurs during a drop.

No constant number of drops between crashes, usually 6 drops at most without one.

Graphics are 1920x1080/full window/vsync on @ 120hz/motion blur high/all very high, haven't changed them.

Where in the game or menus did the crash occur?
MWO locked up in the testing grounds. I had to kill the application from the task bar. It locked up with a black screen.
What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring? I was testing lasers on the various mechs in the testing ground in Forest Colony Snow. I was standing on the hill in D5 panning around when a black screen appeared.
Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps? Not known.
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? I have not changed my settings in several months. 1920 x1200.
What are your System specs? (You can include them in a )

3 plays on the training grounds, 3 crashes to desktop.

First two times were Forest colony, last time was Caustic valley.

Settings are on High.

EDIT: Crashes to desktop happen all the time to me, so it's probably not related specifically to the training grounds.

Still experiencing the "CryAnimation: Command Buffer Overflow" error from the last two patches. :D

PC and drivers are uptodate and 100% stable, never have crashes any other game or app.
I can play Crysis 3 at max settings all day long without any problems.

And as usual: FIX IT !!!! PLEASE !!!!

Since the last patch I am experiencing way more crashes then before. No driver has been changed since the last patch. One crash was so "bad" I was not able to get past a black screen (Task Manager, nor Desktop would open). Only way to solve the problem was a forced restart.

Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which?
Nope.

Where in the game or menus did the crash occur?
On the battlefield, no specific map or location.

What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring?
No driver changes or whatsoever.

Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps?
Seems to be random.

What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
All maxed out, 1920x1080 vsync enabled.

What are your System specs? (You can include them in a

Edit: The problem occurs when I use my CPLT-C4 with 2 LRM 20 + Artemis and fire the LRMs three to four times in a row. Task manager does not help, I need to reboot.

Edit2: Now the problem occurs whatever mech I take. Crash within the first 2 minutes of the game. It does not matter what mech I take. Crash every second match....

Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which? No. The game froze, the load on my video cards disappeared, and they cooled off as though I had just closed the client. I had to Ctrl+Alt+Del to close the game.

Where in the game or menus did the crash occur? Crash during gameplay, both times a nearby mech was jumping.

What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring? Nothing out of the ordinary...firing lasers/SRM's.

Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps? Sometimes, not always.

What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? 1920 x 1200, max settings...no change from previous stable patch.

What are your System specs?

Has been locking up completely in about 20% of the matches for me so far.

Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which? No, there is no error message
Where in the game or menus did the crash occur? In the games while i'm playing (moving or shooting it doesnt matter)
What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring? Just playing the game either moving or shooting or both.
Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps? Yes
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? 1920x1080 Full screen mode, motion blur off, DX9, system specs = very high, 3D vision mode off.
What are your System specs?

Fired off LRM, watched them close, then hard locked up crash. Task manager needed to close program.

Hey guys,
Since today's patch I have had serious Issues loading into the game, on only one of my Mech's ( Commando COM-3A ) kitted out in my own set up. However since today whenever I go into a match with him, I get all the loading systems etc. all the " check off list " vocals and then when the game is about to start it freezes up but it shows as the game is still responding and active.

The mech has an Engine ( XL195 ) all needed Heat Sinks, operating systems i.e. Gyro's etc. but it just wont let my pilot it in a PvP game Traning ground it works fine but PvP it locks me out of the game.

Last 2 patches have caused my game to crash frequently, and this last one has made the problem bad to the point I think I'm going to have to leave this game for a while ;) Such a pity, for a while this game was playable and I was having a lot of fun. Sometimes the games freezes and I have to close the process, other times I get a CTD, sometimes with no error message, sometimes "mechwarrior online stopped working".

It happens randomly, sometimes near the beginning of a map before any contact with the enemy team, sometimes during heavy firing, doesn't seem to be a connection there. It MAY happen slightly more often if I type during games, or if I hold down W when already at max speed. It also MAY happen more often when I've been changing things in the mechlab, or launch from any screen other than Home.

I get crashes in approximately 50% of games :)

Athlon 3.2Ghz (Dual core)
8GB RAM
ATI Radeon 4800HD
Windows 7 64bit

Fire LRMs for a while then zoom to ensure target not moving behind cover

Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps?

Getting the same errors as lugh, and am still crashing every game, making it unplayable and ruining not only my games, but those of the people I am grouped with as well, I've submitted 3 froum posts, 2 different email strands and yet not one person has fixed or acknowledged the actual problem I am having. I'm very discouraged with the way these crashes are being handled, and have tried everything on my end to fix them.
1. Reinstall Mechwarrior 14 times all with different compatibility settings/admin permissions/custom destinations.
2. Rollback video drivers/update video drivers/change video settings (AA/VSync/etc)
3. Completely reinstall windows 7
4. Provide detailed logs of the crashes/what was happening when they happened
5. Made max FPS restrictions
6. Deepclean my computer with compressed air/local computer place
7. Change fans
8. Run stress test (x2) for 24 hour spans
9. Reinstall Direct X codecs
10. Make different MWO account
11. Manually 7zip .pak files

NOTHING, and yet from customer support I've received back 2 emails, with the first saying it is a known issue (yet not reported in the known issue forum section; and the second telling me to reinstall mechwarrior, and if that doesn't work send him more logs. Piranha, I have sent logs, done changes, and spent the time to get these issues solved, all I'm asking for is to be kept in the loop as to what is happening on this problem. It feels like a slap in the face that I'm putting forward the time to get this issue resolved, but even with this new patch coming out I am not only not shown bug fixes nor am I shown this issue up on the known issues section. What can I do to get this issue fixed as quickly as possible?

I tried to take a look on the new hanging items, if I change between them in the Mechlab a few times (4 to 6 times) the Mechlab will crash (it turns into a black screen and nothing but task manager will close it or make it snap out of it).

Most of the times it happens when I click on the "Peace Necklace" item

Sometimes when I alt-tab to check stuff while I'm in-game(TS) my framerate drops significantly, like 5 fps..

Was any error message provided with the crash? -No, CTD
Where in the game or menus did the crash occur? -Frozen City in front of each tunnel entrance. (2x instances of this)
What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring? 1 was walking at begining of match. 2 was combat near entrance.
Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps? no
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? Max settings. 1 instance before patch. 2 the night of.
What are your System specs?
W7 64 Ult
8 Gigs ram
GTX 570
1920x1080 res
I5-3570
UPdated drivers for MoBo and video card.
