Top Gun Challenge Weekend Event Details:

Starts Friday, March 8th at 10:00AM (PST) until Sunday, March 10th at 11:00PM (PST)

Greetings MechWarriors and welcome to the Top Gun Challenge! Our next challenge event will run this weekend for 3 days and feature 9 hours of intense competition. Players can compete for up to 15,875,000 in prizes!

• There are 3 Stages.
  
• Stage 1 - Friday, Stage 2 - Saturday, and Stage 3 - Sunday.
  
• Each Stage has 3 Segments.
  
• Each Segment lasts for 1 hour, followed by a 30 minute break.

We have made an effort to spread the event times out, allowing players from most timezones to participate. Remember, you have to Opt-In to have you scores counted towards the challenge!

Rules

Opt-In

• Players must Opt-In in order to participate and be eligible for prizes.
  
• By Opting In, players agree to the challenge rules.
  
• Players who Opt-In will automatically have their solo (non-grouped) scores added to the Overall, Stage, and Segment Leaderboards.

Overall, Stages, Segments

• Each Stage consists of 3 Segments. Each Segment will last for 1 hour and focus on a different leaderboard challenges:
  
• Segment 1 = Most Kills.
  
• Segment 2 = Most Assists.
  
• Segment 3 = Most combined Kills and Assists.
  
• Each Segment will have a 30 minute break in between.

Scoring

• Segment Winners - Top three players with the most accumulated Kills.
  
• Stage Winners - Top player with the most accumulate Kills and Assists across all 3 Stage Segments.
  
• Overall Winner - Top player with the most accumulated Kills and Assists across all 9 Segments.

Tie Breakers

• Aggregate Overall Score - WLRatio * 20% + Kills * 15% + KillAssists * 25% + (CaptureAssist + SpottingAssist) * 30% + MatchesPlayed * 10%

IMPORTANT NOTE: For this particular event, only solo player scores will count towards the leaderboards. Players who are within a group of 2 or more played during the stages will not have their scores counted towards the leaderboard.



Schedule

Stage 1

When: March 8th, 2013

• Segment 1: Most Kills @ 10:00am – 11:00am (PST) or 6:00pm – 7:00pm (UTC)
  
• Segment 2: Most Assists @ 11:30am – 12:30pm (PST) or 7:30pm – 8:30pm (UTC)
  
• Segment 3: Most Combined Kills and Assists @1:00pm – 2:00pm (PST) or 9:00pm – 10:00pm (UTC)

Stage 2



When: March 9th, 2013

• Segment 1: Most Kills @ 7:00pm – 8:00pm (PST) or 2:00am – 3:00am (UTC)
  
• Segment 2: Most Assists @ 8:30pm – 9:30pm (PST) or 3:30am – 4:30am (UTC)
  
• Segment 3: Most Combined Kills and Assists @4:00pm – 5:00pm (PST) or 1:00am – 2:00am (UTC)

Stage 3



When: March 10th, 2013

• Segment 1: Most Kills @ 10:00am – 11:00am (PST) or 6:00pm – 7:00pm (UTC)
  
• Segment 2: Most Assists @ 11:30am – 12:30pm (PST) or 7:30pm – 8:30pm (UTC)
  
• Segment 3: Most Combined Kills and Assists @10:00pm – 11:00pm (PST) or 5:00am – 6:00am (UTC)

Rewards

The top players (3) for each Segment will earn the following prizes:

• 1st Place = 500,000
  
• 2nd Place = 250,000
  
• 3rd Place = 125,000

The top player (1) for each Stage will earn the following prize:

• 1,000,000

The top player (1) for all 9 Segments will earn the following prize:

• 5,000,000

Note: Employees of IGP/PGI and their affiliates are not eligible to participate in this event
