Salve,
Is ELO out of order or my personal ELO a total fail?
Every time I'm 1st placed, rarely second.
The point is: I don't think I am the best out there, I know many people that would screw me with ease. Anyone else got this "issue"?!

For clarification:

As you can see, my stats are not that epic-OP-QQ-zomfg like..

When do you play? I get the impression that the European afternoon and morning there are less people online for the match maker to play with as matches are easier for me. During the evening when all the Americans get online the game becomes significantly more difficult.

It doesnt matter if you are the 1st or 2nd on the list. That means nothing. Mostly you see yourself first but its random.

I doubt you've played almost 4000 matches since Elo rating was implemented, show your gamemode stats instead. That'll give a better indication of how Elo matchmaking is doing.

i don't like elo, its a terrible idea for a game, if you spend some time testing out new mechs and don't do very well. your going start playing with and against bad players, making it go even more out of wack

and its based on killing a better opponent, which means being a support player won't help as much as simply finishing people off

I was under the impression that ELO was per chassis. I find that when I pick up a new mech, I'm playing with significantly worse players for at least the first 3-5 matches.

I thought it was per weight class, not per chassis. But I think I just got that from an off-hand comment by a forum user, so I may have misinterpreted it or they could have just been plain wrong.

Or I could be. I'm reporting based on my subjective feelings. In theory a new chassis should make you a worse player as you have reduced arm swing, torso twist, etc... but I feel like I'm almost always better with a new chassis.

i just don't like my matchs, since i can only brawl, the elo thing doesn't have much to work with, since lots of rounds are long range fights, i rarely get much done, except maybe kill one dude that gets 2 close, and i keep getting stuck in tourmaline desert :/ 6th time in a row....

still, if you just got your mech and are testing it, the longer you test it with bad weapons and such, the longer that mech gets put in bad matchs
