This is the last we've seen or heard about fixing SRMs.

In the meantime we've seen a massive drop in Medum Mech numbers, a massive increase in ranged burst damage builds and a general despondancy with regard to brawling. Many people soldier on with their SRM Mechs but the majority of players have switched out to SSRMs(soon to be nerfed also) and more lasers.

Yes, HSR for Missiles is coming but it's hardly going to help them. I hit pretty consistently with my ASRM laden Highlander and, even with a wholly armor stipped mech, the results are terribly underwhelming for the tonnage and heat planning required.

So, what's going on?

Are we waiting for more structure crits in the critical damage system?

Will SRMs be having their numbers tweaked soon?

Can we get some serious feedback here because with 12 vs 12 fast approaching I cannot see how SRMs can keep a place on the battlefield with their current ammo to damage ratios.

Give us some info!

People whine too much about SRMs. They just need to buff them, then cut off all contact- reddit, twitter, facebook, the forums, email, etc.... for about 3 months. Then once everything is settled, re-establish contact.

I guarantee you that unless they OMGWTF LRMs-WHEN-ARTEMIS-WAS-FIRST-INTRODUCED level buff the missiles, no one is going to leave during that time that wouldn't have left regardless, except for a handful of the most ********, who, quite frankly, will drag down any gaming community they participate in anyway.

I just want to know what's in the pipeline; we got a whole lot of info on LRMs(they literally drew us a picture) and I'd like the same, or at least some semblance of it, for SRMs. They are one of the games primary weapons systems and there is really no clue as to what's in the works.

SRM's are a joke always until they return them as a staple brawling weapon that fires straight and ripple fires.

HSR for missiles, plus the SRM spread has been reduced. Worth test at least.

They still need a damage increase to be anywhere near as viable as pin-point damage weapons.

Quoted for the truth. I can't believe they left srm damage per missile @ 1.5. I am very, very, very, very disappointed.

Going to test these new adjustments. We'll see. Was hoping for a minor damage buff but this is good also.
