Hahaha, nice. Plus 10 internets. I especially like the fast-forward PPC mode. 6:21 was very lulz, and to complete the picture some lrms fell on their dying mech corpse. The slow-motion PPC cap at 8:45, heart pounding. I give it a 10/10, very balanced (video).

It's also why the veteran players get frustrated when some innocent inexperienced lone wolf shows up going "YOU GUYS IT'S FINE MY LBX/10 LL 2 MG mech CAN DO FINE LOL" and we say they are in low ELO brackets, then they just respond going "PROVE IT LOL HERES MY SCREENSHOT OF SCORES."

If you aren't seeing what you see in that video, you are not in high ELO brackets. Once you hit those, this is the game. Play it or die.

First of all this is in all elo brackets, i play lights and assaults and my win percentage is pretty good even with pugging.
now in my mediums which i never play i still see PPCS everywhere and i have barely touched my mediums since stats got erased.

I'm pretty sure that the "99%" also are dealing with lots of PPC spam. After all, I literally started assault mechs (Stalker to be exact) just today so my Elo is probably pretty low seeing how I haven't played that class before. I do see more troll weapons like the AC/2, MG, and LRMs in the underhive, but even there PPCs are still the king.

I am surprised by the sheer ineffectiveness of LRMs at this high Elo. I heard about it, but never witnessed it first hand like this.

thanks for posting this video. people who "play for fun" don't seem to realize how overpowered pinpoint alpha ppc/gauss really are. lrms are a joke. ok you fired 90lrms at me and 10 hit for 11.1 dmg 90% to ct and rest spread around. i alpha'd you for 40-45 dmg pinpoint. cower behind your rock, lrm atlas, and wait for your allies to die. you're last.

sure some games you **** up and get caught in the open and lrm'd to death, but lrms don't counter ppc/gauss snipers. ppc/gauss snipers can brawl too as that video depicted when OP got down n dirty in the tourmaline pit. wish srms had some hitting power again; might make it worthwhile to take a medium and bitchslap some ppc/gauss snipers.
