Just noticed there is a loud buzzing sound in the summery screen. Never heard this before this patch.

It happens to me only when I'm near a 'Mech that's still live, but the player has disconnected.

Anyone run the repair tool to see if that fixes a potentially corrupt file?

http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/

If that doesn't work, pls submit a support ticket with a DXDiag and Omicron log attached to help them track it down.

Good luck with resolution.

I tried that and it found no mismatches. And what is an Omicron log?

It's a file in the MechWarrior Online folder on your hard drive.

After several tests, the buzzing sound is coming after a player disconnects. It happens in-match when a disconnect happens and at at the EOR screen when players start disconnecting after looking at their scores.

Note: You only hear the buzzing if you're near a disconnected 'Mech. If you're all alone, you don't hear it.

Not me. The only times I've ever heard it is when I'm near a disconnected 'Mech, whether in the middle of a match or at the EOR screen when everybody starts disconnecting.

I hear it briefly when a player disconnects from the game, whether that be mid game or during the summary screen. Guessing it's something to do with the server losing connections as folks d/c, but other than that I'm not sure. Didn't notice it before this latest patch (28/10).

Same. Repair tool finds nothing. It sounds like something is picking up distortions from the harddrive.

Seems to be very common, asked some people in a game about it. Got about 3 reports that they had this issue.

Same here. Buzzing at the end of round screen. Becomes more prominent when I end up next to another mech - doesn't matter if they're DC'd as for me it happens only at the EOR screen.

It is the strangest thing... I thought it was my speakers, but it's definitely generated by the game, at the match scoring summary screen.

I don't think this is a MWO file issue rather it is literally a new issue in this game.
