Yup, I said this a few pages back, the head honchos at IGP are long time friends of PGI. IGP was incorporated with the specific purpose of publishing MWO. For all intents and purposes they are the same company.

Ok, Feedback:

1. Clan Mechs: Absolutley YES
2. Dire Wolf is included: Hell YES
3. Prices.... No..sry. I bought the peonix pack, cause I thought that 12 mechs + 90 Days of premium time is a fair deal. Other MMOs charge nearly the same amount of money for the same playtime and some goodies. And here I am also tempted to buy the Direwolf pack, cause 120 is just the border of what I would be willing to spend on a game of which noone can definitely foresee its future.

And here we are....everybody wants a Mad Cat. The Mad Cat is put in a tier waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up on the chart. So if you reallyreallyreallyprettyplease want it you have to pay a sh**load of money to get it. That is the message. Not:"We kept you guys long enough waiting, here's the candy", no. It's:"Here is the stuff you are consistantly bothering us with. Take it or leave it. And be fu**ing gratefull! And payfull. And don't you dare complain. This is what you want, money is what we want. So it works both ways."
Now I am sure you will give those mechs out for C-Bills at a certain time. If we take the time schedule for the phoenix mechs as a measure for the clan mechs than the MadCat will be available sometime in uuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhm..."3053"....

No. This wasn't a good strategy. This was a kick in the face for your loyal customers still willing to spend money for this project to keep it going. A kick with spikes. Poison dipped spikes. Poison and acid dipped spikes.

And finally: 500$. For what? There is no info other than "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD". Gold what? Colour scheme, weapons, cockpit interiors, toilet seat, hula girl, GOLD WHAT!?!?! And 500...FIVE!!!HUNDRED!!! DOLLARS?


I tell you what this looks like:

Either you know you're going down the drain and you like to milk this cow just one more time. Or your shareholder horsesh**collectors told you that the "numbers" are not satisfactory and that you have to do something about it.

This pricing made me to raise torches and pitchforks as well.
Until this point, i was really supporting PGI with Legendary founders package, Phoenix overlord and even with saber reinforcements, as well as buying 12k MC packages several times for paints, hero mechs, premium time etc.
And i was also defending these guys here in the forums in hopes that they will fix things.

That ends now.

Would someone please create a collection of what PGI promised to us in the last year or so. and the original dates of features to be delivered, like CW, U.I 2.0, original date for clan invasion, ingame lobby and several other things.

We still have only handful of weapons (which are so out of balanced and nerf hammered to uselessness), we have mechs, aye! but some of them still have glitchy hitboxes. we have gotten out of immortal light mech speedtanking, but dont even get me started on hit detection... you know what i mean.
or how about regional servers for EU, ASIA and U.S to improve ping ratings?
Current endgame content and features? we do not have it.

So after pouring around 300-400usd to a game that still lacks core features i think it is enough. you have gotten our cash from previous packages and founders programs, now put that cash to use and deliver us some content.

And seriously, 500usd for a golden mech? or 240usd for a "Clan Legendary Founder package" (Masakari collection) ?
Guys, really?
That is so overpriced that it is not even funny anymore.
120usd tops for the golden mech package, and even that is overpriced considering the content you will get with that amount of money.
Hint,Hint,Nudge,Nudge... Steam christmas sales are coming, i think i will get more playable content with that amount of money from there. and those games are complete,working pieces. (with some DLC's, yes)

So please PGI, Fix your ***t, give us what we paid you for. or you WILL be seeing a dramatic drop in player numbers.
And i really dont want to see it come to that.

Everything is nice and tasty. But while there is no guarantee that all will be well on. Gauss spoiled Catapult too. But if all further innovations will meet the players At least 75% of cases. No UI 2.0, No DX11, No CV. No new weapons and equipment. And think you can, but do not pay.

One problem is that we don't even have the implementation for loyalty bonuses from the LAST mech package deal. How about finishing up the implementation of THAT package before moving on to the next which, incidentally, also includes non-existent feature bonuses?

I'd like to clarify to those defending PGI without actually reading any of the negative posts.

It's not the Mech Pack, it's not the Gold Mechs (even though they are priced absurdly), it's being left in the dark yet again. A lot of people posting have some key questions, so since some of you PGI defenders are lazy I'll put the general concerns in point form for you.

1) How will the Clan Mechs work in MWO?

2) Is there actually going to be an in-game event for this or is the Clan Invasion just an excuse to sell more mechs and maybe edit the maps a little bit?

3) If the game is truly F2P like they've stated and not Pay 2 Win, what is this new module, what does it do, and why does PGI think it won't effect gameplay at all or noticably?

4A) Why are you (PGI) so focused on releasing a plethora of new mechs when the games major problems aren't the variety of Mechs, its the lack of game modes, poor interfaces, lackluster tutorials compacted by brick wall learning curves, and no dedicated reason for us to keep coming back to play other than C-Bill Grinding and XP Grinding?

4B) In relation to the last question, where are we on Community Warfare and UI 2.0 and can you give us any morsels to assure us that these things are being worked on and are being released within an acceptable time frame?

I guess I'm just confused by this entire damned thread here, because we're just now -- December 14, 2013 -- seeing PGI posting advertisements for a huge cash-grab pre-order for mechs that not only aren't fully designed, but won't even be available for earlybirds until June of 2014.

Haven't we been kitting out our omnimechs for months already?

Those 'bonus unique modules' are going to be a real game changer, mark my words. If they do anything that enhances a 'Mech's abilities this forum will quite literally go into terminal meltdown.

How Gold Skin works?
You will probably be able to buy it until about the time it comes out in June 17, 2014. They will post a warning before it goes away.

The gold skin seems to be just a shiny gold skin for your mech if you have lots and lots of extra money to spend on shiny gold mechs. Will probably make you a big target in games. :)
