- Elo doesnt seem to give a {Scrap} that I'm brand new - and makes me fight elite 4 mans.
- As soon as I cleared match 25, it became mostly "cheese" as they say, every match.
( I noted that its not so much pilot skill as it is a fairness in weapons loadouts. )
- At least before match 25 there were some champions on both sides and stock builds.
( You didnt get insta-gibbed from massive lrm rain and numerous incoming ballistics rounds. But people still fought well. )
- After match 25, its a nightmare of cheese ballistics, massive lrm rain, and jump snipers.
- Matches snowball out of control after a few deaths on either side.
- No PuG only queue.
- No tonnage matching.
- No class matching.
- No effective team coordination commands. No voice coordination.
- And wheres the damn lobby ? I mean there is zero player interface till a match starts. No help, no one to ask questions. If my buddy didnt talk me into playing and I couldnt call him and ask questions I'd be fully clueless still.

Bottom line is HUGELY unfair and imbalanced match experiences. I mean its not even fun. You either roll the enemy team, or you get rolled by the enemy team. Occassionally you get a few close ones but usually its getting overwhelmed one way or the other.

Stock only build queue, or pug only queue would seem to be HUGE features that would smooth the experience out massively. Class matching as well.

It just straight up feels like nothing is effectively matched well. Its a total {Scrap} shoot.

With how garbage heat dissipation is for SHS time would run out before most mechs are dead.

I hate to break it to you, but this is going to happen - generally speaking - most of the time no matter what the state of the game happen to be. Focus fire is the name of the game, and if one side gets down 3-5 mechs it's pretty tough to come back. 6 mechs down and it's pretty much over no matter what. Game balance, matchmaking, changing all the weapons so they shoot rainbows and kittens; do whatever you want to the game and that will remain true, by and large.

Forum troll happy because he got someone to pay attention to him. You need a hug dude.

If you don't like random MM then group up. There's a simple fix. Then you don't have to worry about not knowing what your teammates are bringing.

War Roar the matchmaker has been ccrapp for 2 years and the dummbb bbastards at PGI still don't get howto fix the problem.

Step #1 make a checkbox queue system
Step #2 make queue options.
Step #3 first queue option is trial vs trial only pug only.
Step #3 second queue option is custom vs custom pug only.
Step #4 premade vs premade 2v2-12v12 no pugs.

Boy that was so hard to figure out they should give me the Pulitzer prize.

Just follow where the majority of the team is...I will say this newish splitting the lances spawn points was F'ing stupid all it does is potentially leave units without backup when they need it. Just put it back the way it was.

Stop with the team work thing because anyone past a sixth grade education knows its a lie.

We drop in 12, But what we get is 4 or 8 and the rest blind. That's not team work except for the sorority premades. Real teamwork is in 12v matches where the real players bring the game. The others who never drop in real team matches are just posers hence all the vitriol here from the posers.

Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom, Timmy has friends on his team! It's not fair cuz nobody wants to play with me!

Uhm dude, do you even realize how ridiculous your posts like this are?

Team work = working together. Guess what? That has NOTHING to do with premades and pugs. Take it from someone who plays in both and isn't some anti-premade hater. Try being unbiased and quit spewing ridiculous drivel. Make an accurate post on what your actual issue with the game is. Stop the name-calling. Stop blaming your poor game experience on those that group up. Stop lying about how the MM system works to new players.

12 pugs v 12 pugs
1 premade + 8 pugs = 1 premade + 8 pugs on other side
2 premade + 4 pugs = 2 premade + 1 pug on the other side
12man premade = 12 man premade on other side

That's how MM works. That's how it is designed. Whether you like it or agree with it or not. Stating anything other than that when it comes to how premades and pugs are matched up is simply false and/or ignorant of how the system works. You never offer anything constructive to posts, all you do is post "Premades are evil, voip is evil, they make me and other pugs lose"

Then any time someone posts ANYthing in contradiction to that ideology you resort to name calling and dismissing anything they have to say. You are a poison to the forums and a detriment to any new player coming in wanting to learn more about the game. You offer absolutely no help to new players, you offer them no advice, you offer them no alternatives other than "Voip sucks and premades will make you lose. You might as well give up now"

Try being a constructive player and helping the community out for once.

EDIT: Typo

Sorry, what unit were you in again, and what position did you guys place in RHoD?

Oh, you're not in a unit, don't play in 12s, and never won a tourney?

Then how about you drink a tall glass of shut the **** up.

You wouldn't know real teamwork if 12 people came along and slapped you in the face with it. There's plenty of teamwork in random matches, you're just incapable of recognizing or participating in it.

I play Solo 95% of the time, and still have a positive KDR and WLR. You can 'force' teamwork by picking a 'Mech larger and slower than you, and sticking to it, shooting whatever he shoots at.

Matchmaker is, for me at least, fine.
Sure I'll get dumped into a match where the other team is a pair of premades, I accept that i can't win every match, and hit Launch again.

I've had games with 7kills, others with near 1k damage done and 11 -12 Assists.
I've also had games where i haven't broken 100 because the other team focused me down first.
I still play.

I don't get why people are so ******** that they lose sometimes. It's kind of ridiculous. You win some, you lose some, get over it.

PS: Games that feature my team pulling into a pack and then charging at the enemy team when we find them wins more often than teams that bunch up behind a hill or ramp and backpedal like mad if so much as a Locust crosses their screen.

You think this is bad now??? Just wait until the Clan mechs and all their tech get here. Talk about unbalanced teams.

I already talked about this and how PGI needs to put a BV (Battle Valve) on every item in the game and build teams of a total BV. Screw the "Skill" and do it more like what WoT does it...which is far from perfect but 100% better than what we have now.
It would be easy because there is already a system in place...in the Battletech rulebook. Damn that was hard!

If not, you'll see game after game of 12 Clanners vs 12 Innies after the Clans are released...and more people leaving this failed game.

To PGI: STOP TRYING TO REINVENT THE WHEEL...geesh!
