One of my best friends of 30 years needs a bone marrow transplant. He probably has a year before his condition turns into cancer and then becomes untreatable.
Please donate. You could save someones life.

Putting this in my sig. Maybe more people can help. I'd also challenge everyone to do the same. It takes a few seconds to add a link in your signature.

Yup, we can have convos to make sure it stays up at the top

Speaking of which, Jack Reacher? Pretty cool action flick.

(Just trying to get something goin so we don't just *bump* and **** off mods)

Who ever gets first post of the next page should change their post to quote OP so we can make sure it's the top of the page every time.

That is clever - surprising that more people don't do that.
(I have seen similar used before...forget where though)

Well it only really works for so long unless you're in off-topic. If you start going off-topic in other subsections then you either get locked or jettisoned usually lol

Sorry to hear about your friend man. It's good to see that you're supporting him though.

It's in the appropriate spot and nothing offensive so I don't see why they wouldn't let it stand

I ready to move somewhere, where the people aren't holding a pistol in their pockets waiting to kill you in the next five seconds. Not to mention we also have a horrible education system.

Well up here in Alaska a lot of people still have pistols in their pocket... but that is more for the Moose.
(which you would get in Canada as well - not really sure about gun-laws though)
No idea about our education system though- I was homeschooled :)

I'm homeschooled also. But I went to a private school for a few years.

I was public school up to 4th grade, but as you may have seen from my interactions with those who disagree with my viewpoints, I am not a very socially adept individual. :)
I can say I have yet to see another place I would really rather live (spent some months visiting relatives in the lower 48 - driven through Canada 3-4 times) but my opinion on that may not mean diddly squat for others. ;)

I've always wanted to visit Alaska and see a Moose (never seen one before so it would be like a Winter Safari for me).

Moose are actually a lot scarier than the bears (as our Canadian friends can probably tell you) ;)
Only partially because most bear are actually really people-shy (where I live at least)

The one place in the world where absolutely everything is trying to kill you? :D
(nearly always wanted to visit there)

I would feel bad about being off topic... but it is bumping the topic so..... :D

It's great down here in Australia, great climate, good people (mostly), relatively prosperous and clean. Great beaches here in Perth where I live, forget about Bondi, Cottesloe and Scarborough are where it's at.

We also have a Bone Marrow Registry in Australia, and the program here donates to international recipients where a match is found. http://www.abmdr.org.au/

They are planning to have at least one hero per chassis, so yes.

Unfortunately there are no donor centers where I live so I'll add the link to my signature.
