Yep. Three credit cards nor Paypal.

That's ok Pirahna, I guess I didn't want to pay you any money anyway

Yeah, the website appears to be collapsing under the load. Hope this clears in a few hours.

Yes, I had that happen to me as well (2 different cards as well as PayPal). Just tried it again about 5 minutes ago and it says it went through...haven't gotten a confirmation or anything yet but hoping it just congested and will come soon.

Edit--
Well, I see my account on here shows I purchased it...still no email or anything confirming other than that icon under my name.

Yep, three canceled Paypals, one declined Paypal card and one declined bank card. Not cool.

I called Ultimate pay (PGI's pay processor) via the contact number listed in paypal, and according to them it is an ongoing issue affecting both credit and paypal purchases. They said it should be fixed by the end of the day, or tomorrow for sure.

Since you're now a legendary member, I wonder what you ended up doing?

The first point of call for me in matters like this is to contact my bank.. if they can't find anything wrong, the next port of call is the payment system (Playspan, Paypal etc).. if they can't find any problem, then and only then would I bother to contact the company I am trying to pay. Generally speaking, companies want your money and they don't want to decline transactions.. on the other hand, banks want to secure your accounts and the middle-men (payment systems) want to reduce their risk and consequently payments to the banks for chargebacks by also declining suspect transactions.

So.. moral of the story, contact your bank and/or payment system.

Am having the same problems. Ultimate pay/Playspan is the service that they are using to accept payment and I have had nothing but problems with them and paypal is a whole other set of issues. It would be nice if I could give them my money...

Light487 (no sarcasm) thank you for politely explaining the steps you take to resolve these issues and the underlying reasons for why the institutions involved act in our interests.

My particular situation is that I live in Japan, but work for the US and have a US APO address. Playspan flags that because I have a US address and cc, but a foreign ip. I've spoken with ultimatepay and they say that they understand and verify all of my information, but it doesn't change the fact that they will block my transactions. Companies do want our money, but the reply from WOT was "playspan processes these transactions and we cannot help you".

I'm sure that this will be sorted out in the future, but it is frustrating to know that I will be dealing with two payment systems that I have a history of problems with.

Cheers and see you on the battlefield sooner or later.

Had the same problem when I was in China earlier this year.

Is there any such thing as a Prepaid Visa Debit card there in Japan? Maybe you could get one of those?

We have them here in Australia.

Light, I work for the US Govt. and basically have access to anything I could get in the states, so the pre-paid visa is something I can get. That is part of the problem because I have a US address, but a Japanese IP. I'm not sure if a pre-paid visa would work in this particular case and could not find anything in the forums (ultimate pay or MWO, but honestly I didn't look too deep) to support that it would, so I didn't want to waste the money and time if it didn't work out. I could buy ultimate pay time cards which I used for WOT, but MWO doesn't seem to be set up for that yet.

I have transferred money to my paypal account, but will have to wait a couple of days for paypal to credit my account although they have already taken the funds from my bank.

In the end it will all work out and I'll be basking in the glow of enemy lasers. I appreciate the helpful advice and hope to shoot internet "other guys" with you soon!

"After a thorough research we see that your purchase attempt for order id: 517123878 worth 120.00 USD was cancelled by PayPal (Payment service provider). Furthermore, we see that your recent purchase attempts via PayPal were declined due to security filters which we have in place. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you."

ORLY? Paypal says the exact opposite. So much for customer service doing anything about this.
