I love watching "elite" players whine about teamwork and bad players after making zero effort to communicate or even slightly pubwrangle.

On the other hand I also dislike the tryhard teamworkers who spend the entire match yakking on the voip trying to wrangle while getting absolutely zero support.

Interesting statement there Vermaxx.
I'll add the flipside to your opinion then. I HATE, with an utterly scary level of fanatacism the solo guys who just do what they want, when they want because "they are more important" than the team.
Especially today, the lurkers at the back types. The ones that refuse to move and support their team. Seen quite a few of them today.
In fact it was those people that made me give up the assault phase of this event. I tried a brawler atlas and got sick of not getting backed up. I tried a lrm atlas and got sick of being abandoned...so I thought screw it.

The one thing at fault in mwo is the fact people just can't or won't operate as a team player. Team solomatch FTW eh?

And yes I died with just my mighty tag counting coup while the reds friendly fired on each other.

I tend to end this way a lot lately with the littlest lrm boat. But must master them all

ah yes i loved my little 3S LRM boat- it gave me something to do while capping on conquest (originally just stuck to conquest when leveling the locusts up). them something would come within 200m of me and i was doomed.

best part would be pre-match everyone announcing that they are LRM boats. i proudly announced i was a LRM dingy. this seemed to confuse people...

well to be honest i think most of them wondered why i called it a "dingy"

i always told them it was because it's too small to be a boat.

I seem to have hit a spot in my elo level (or something, everyone else blames elo so why shouldn't I) in medium mechs where if I bring a new mech or an inferior build I lose horribly and the team gets trounced. If I jump back to lights I have "expected performance." Very handy since I have been spending a lot of time acquiring and leveling new medium mechs lately. . . bright side - the mediums I have gotten to 2x basic are performing swimmingly so. . . I guess this is a half whine.

go to a spot, camp it, die.
or the second version:
lemming after the first person that moves somewhere and if it dies, stand still and die there.

I actually thought I'd reached an ELO level where the lurm boaters do not go, to the point of thinking of removing my AMS..f.me, the sky was more full of them than a welsh army at agincourte.

ams was exhausted in the first 3 minutes

Love getting killed from the rear CT because the entire team that was behind me decides to turn and run after a squirrel the moment I start to engage the heavier enemy mechs, allowing a light to come up behind me, unmolested

Hit reg, or lack thereof.
River city down to the last few mechs each side. My team mates die, leaving me alone. I kill 3 of the last 4 mechs with the Wubforcer™, end up duelling a largely fresh Zeus. I outshoot him, out manouver him and well, beat him. But my last 44pts of damage hit his dark yellow Ct and....utterly no damage registers at all. The last two salvos that SHOULD have killed him do absolutely nothing at all. Allowing him a kill he did not deserve.

It's not enough to know who really won that duel, I want the actual result! that 0 damage cack has happened to me 6 times now in one on ones-it's got to the point where I deliberately avoid them because I can't trust my weapons to actually score damage when it counts. Oddly it always happens sub 100 meters...
I play at my gf's house on her machine and the problem don't happen....why?

Those things are really hard to see, esp. when you have cataracts in both eyes trying to brawl. Our Professor today sent out the negotiations scenario for our finals, and he labelled one team as the "Helpful Insurance Company" versus "Mr. & Mrs. Troublemakers".

He couldn't have spun it any harder, I think he must have cataracts, too, or maybe he just thinks we're all stupid.

But it's difficult to shoot UAVs down with LRMs!

Tho really, PGI recently fixed a graphics-range bug for UAVs, and I suspect there's more problems depending on players' settings/hardware/drivers. Moreover, UAVs stop their glowing blue jets after some amount of time and some situations require heat vision to spot them. And then, I think PGI actually fixed the laser range vs UAV bug, making it problematic to shoot UAVs with anything but arm-mounted large lasers.

But mostly, I just assume players don't shoot UAVs because they're saving their ammo/heat to steal kills with.

LL.M. I told him I thought it would be better styled as "Insurance Company v. Claimants" and he just glared at me. He's just playing mind games.

Anyway, I don't shoot at any lousy UAVs b/c I'm usually too focused on the battle map and situation on the ground, Ain't got time to look up in the air, I only look up to see where LRMs are coming from.

No spawn camping. just a team of pugs afraid to fight. I mean...30 damage..with four me hs combined? How does that happen?
