I mean really, I can't think of any other successful game that gets broken every 2 weeks, with none of the previous problems being resolved. How is this even possible.

The real challenge is finding out when the game is actually broken, or the OPs in these threads are just whining because they can or they want a specific weapon/playstyle nerfed to fit their own ideas of balance.

SRMs are confirmed broken. In fact, all missiles are suffering since todays patch.

Paul has stated they weren't touched. The fact it's taking 3 times as many missiles to kill things determined that was a lie.

You know, I was expecting an honest, introspective question of the community's motives when I clicked on this thread. Shame on me, I guess. I shouldn't have been surprised to find more melodramatic bs as usual.

You really shouldn't. Even when people talk about a legitimate concern like missiles getting screwed over and other issues, they tend to couch them in highly negative posts. I dunno. Maybe saying "You guys really need to fix the missiles" just doesn't carry the same weight as "You freaking morons broke the missiles! Gah, what a bunch of incompetent idiots!"

Because, you know, insults makes the devs work faster....or is it that the devs feed of the tears of angry gamers...one of those two.

I will admit it is pretty silly to break the missiles at the same time you're shoving a missile boat hero and I did get a good laugh from that.

This is actually standard PGI practice.. it's happened a bunch already like the Champion Highlander with 1 JJ right after they nerf how much thrust you get from a single JJ.

There's been at least 3 other distinct instances that I can not remember at the moment.. I seem to recall something with PPCs or Gauss right after that was changed as well..

What I ment originally is. They messed up some things. I'm ok with that for the most part, given nothing is for certain. It pissed costomers off, maybe pushing some to quit (if you belive the crap on here). But to not learn from that mistake, or take proper precautions/actions so that it doesn't continually happen again and again. That is just self sabotage. I've spent money on the game, heck I really want to buy a clan pack so I don't have to wait, plus I need some more mech bays anyways (i figure i'll sell a bunch). I know the biggest reason why i'm not currently going to buy a clan pack is because of the continual turds PGI keeps pushing out. Hence they are killing their own game, they have 0 consumer confidence. That and the way they choose to not let you know much about what you are purchasing, another thing that is killing them.

Give customers a reason to buy, not a reason to not buy.
