I'm going to a Lanparty, and have a second PC to run a server.
What do I need to run it, and what do I need for the other players ?

Is there an all in one installer for the whole mod, without the need of downloading and patching ?

-----
Server: Phenom X II Quad Core, 8 GB Ram, Windows Vista 64bit

http://forum.mechliv...p?topic=19022.0 < complete installer

As long as you are not connected to the internet you can host via the Beta launcher for the game that launches when you want to play MWLL. If you are connected too the net it becomes very complex so I suggest turn off the internet to lan. No need for a CD key as the download comes with a build in keygen.

MW:LL sucked. Just saying.

It was a noble effort, with high quality results, but really "meh" in execution.

It was a fanbased mod with limit resources and skills I think they did a to notch job for whats its worth but every one has different take on things. Not every one will like every thing lol.

I think they are all very talented developers. I just think tanks and running around people + not being able to customize my load out = groan. No load out, you may as well play a racing sim with a NES controller instead of a 3-pedal H-gate (or paddle depending on vehicle) wheel. And then not be able to adjust anything in your car.

Well you have to also understand no mech lab leads to a far more balance game sure its a really nice thing to play custom mechs but think about trying to balance that its a nightmare and something you really can't do unless you bring some type of restrictions in. MWLL mechlab was about 95% done but it was based on a role system where you can not say yank off a machine gun and put in a AC20 or you could not rip off a small laser and put a PPC things like that. But the whole goal of MWLL was full scale warfare. They actually should of called it Battle tech online cause its more then just mechs at the end of the day. Where is Mechwarrior is focused on the " mech"

MWO needs some kind of restrictions in terms of what you can place where it would help with balance.
