I want to do some animation with one of the more agile mechs with full limbs, etc. Anyone have a phoenix hawk model lying around that I could use. I've done a ton of animation, just not a modeler.

I'll take a few pics later today and post them.

Not my finest hour in the modeling dept im afraid, these days i would put far more detail into the job, not just tack on some balsa and bell caps from a model rocket.
I doubt these pics will be very useful

There was a small plastic kit of the phoenix hawk available back in the 80's japanese in origin, but mine got scrapped for parts long ago (too small to play outside CBT with)

I knocked this one up so i could field one, the rule being you must have a model in that scale to play, its one of the reasons i took up making mech models, while my mates could only field the plastic kits available, griffins, shadow hawks thunderbolts stingers , wasps etc, i could field my atlas etc.

I hope someone can post a better example of a SH model for you

I can offer you one. I´ve done it quite some time ago and is not textured and without UV mapping. As soon as I get home I´ll load it up.

Really nice model. There is no chance you have a Shadow Hawk somewhere, do you?

Any chance you have the rigged version you used for the first pic? This one seems to just be a mesh. I can weight it, but if its already done....

Sorry, it was originally done in trueSpace with forward kinematics, so no rig actually. That´s all I can offer. But rigging should be part of an animator´s job <_<

Yah, I know. Worth asking at least. Thanks for posting the model. I'll shoot you the rigged version once I get it done.
