It was originally made for a short movie which has never seen the light of day (yet), now I feel that it´s time to release the model to the public. Would be a shame to let it die a virtual death of forgotten bytes

This is one of my personal favorite Mechs, so don´t mess it up ;)

Edit 06.01.2012:
Model now with a basic rig and AC shortened as suggested.

A really nice model you've done GraySho. I wantt to pilot this mech if it will be available in MW:O, so getting as much info about it and as much pictures as possible is my personal goal. Thank you again, I really can't believe you've made one. ^_^

It sucks Short Movie never made it to the screen. I followed it for a long time. And it looked like it might have been amazing. The models for the project, where, and still are amazing.

Very nice of you to share the model. Thank you.

Did you make a texture for it to, or did you stop at the mesh ?

I haven´t got to the point to texture it, I basically was just a modeler for that project and didn´t have good enough tools to efficiently map and texture that guy. Nowadays I have the tools but don´t have the time

Wonderful aesthetic that consecrates to the Shadow-Hawk like one of the most elegant ever seen

I just became aware that the autocannon is missing in this model. Gotta fix that and load up the new model (be patient please).

Check the first post, I´ve updated the model today and included the autocannon. I hope to find some time to rig and texture it a bit. This is starting to be make again. :)

Strange I did not notice. Nice update, but fom looking at it, I think that the canon is a bit too big. :D

I´ve uploaded the rigged mesh now (first post). I hope to be able to take the time to UV map and texture it soon. Don´t expect miracles from this rig, it´s mostly just to pose the Mech for nice still shots.

Can I ask you something GraySho? What is the best way to learn modelling in Blender? My bro has learnt to make good models in Google Sketchup and since we usually compete with each other, I tried Blender out. It looks good, but apart from some easy toying with modifiers and other basic things, I could not even make an Urbie in it. Any tips on getting some skills in it? Thank you. ;)

Nice. I wish I understood how to do this stuff using the computers...my skills seem to be limited to plastic and resin.

Stunning work, GraySho. I can only hope that with practice I can get up to your skill level at some point. I posted a Vulture I took a stab at months ago. Was a fair challenge with only one ref image I could fine, plus a few shots of miniatures and model kits. Curious as to what you used for ref? I love all the fine details you threw in, too. Really makes it come alive for me.

Sweet!
I always wondered what it would be like to pilot a Shadow Hawk. Looks even cooler than the original model designs.
