Who wants the old 3 Mech Module Slots system back until PGI really thinks through the module revision?

Not that, but perhaps the option to combine 2 consumable slots into 1 mech module slots or vice versa would be nice.

I could get behind a well thought out module revision, but not this half-arsed for whatever reason 'quick-fix' module change.

A well thought out revision would mean for instance addressing the potential of 48 arty and air strikes in a single match, a well thought out revision would mean also having weapon modules which make sense (not lame added range + added heat level 1 modules - DO NOT forget that targeting computers give added range WITHOUT the heat plus more benefits) OR EVEN what you suggested above which at least allows flexibility and customization to how a player wants to play.

So in the ABSENCE of a well thought out PLAN, the old 3 mech module system is better than what PGI just did.....

It has been one day since this change, lets not complain about it until we see how it works in the long run.

Many have predicted the strikes long before this patch. It's a bad idea to begin with and should never have been implemented. Doesn't matter if it's been a day or if it's been 365 days.

We don't need generic module slots, we need more specialized module slots.

Weapon, Mobility, Sensor, Universal, Consumable.

With further differentiation, PGI can be a bit more generous with total module slots while also shaping the role of each variant by tweaking the number of each category that it can bring along.

Master slots are Universal (can hold anything but Consumable modules).

I think PGI needs some actual game designers, it appears the ones they have are broken or been chewing lead agiain!

Worst patch ever!

As I wrote here - http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__3595664 the best solution is:
  • One and just one consumable slot
  • Restore old mech module slots numbers, make minimum number of mech module slots 2 (+1 extra from master efficiency)
  • Weapon modules slots should be 1-2(+1 more from master efficiency),and they have to be reinvented (few suggestions here http://mwomercs.com/...s-propositions/ )

The weapon modules are bunk.

The handful of good modules outnumber the available slots.

The rest of the seldom-used modules now become never-used modules.

Advanced Gyro, Hill Climb, Cap Accel? Good bye.

Advanced Gyro and Hill Climb could be moved to the purchasable upgrades like FF, Endo, Artemis and DHS.... now they are so silly I haven't even begun to contemplate using one. But I now also find one consumable slot empty as I never invested any GXP in them as the other modules are so much more useful (But will start using the UAV now, I think). The weapon modules have the same impact as changing your color scheme; you think it makes all the difference.

I like the new module system

I think we should get 3 mech module slots though.

And more weapon modules need to be introduced that have useful effects

can we modify the poll ... option 3 ... like the new system but add another mech module slot

Closing, as this is a petition not a suggestion!
