Greetings MechWarriors,

We are currently sending out a hotfix with the following fixes:

  • Planets no longer show more than 11 wins for a planet
  • Unit tags now display correctly for the winning Unit in the planet history section
  • Dead ‘Mechs are now properly removed during matches – players should see a frame-rate improvement throughout the course of a match

This hotfix should have no effect on server status or the matchmaking service.

Also, a number of players are experiencing client crashes resulting from Memory Allocation Errors when running the new Community Warfare game mode.
For more information on how you may be able to resolve or minimize these errors until we can roll out a proper fix, please consult the information in this forum thread.

Please note that there is a known issue with the Faction map not rendering the territories correctly when running under DirectX 11. The temporary workaround for this issue is to locate and delete the ‘Cache’ folder located in your \MechWarrior Online\USER\Shaders\ folder.
You will need to delete this ‘Cache’ folder prior to every new launch of the client to prevent the issue from re-occurring.

Any ETA for the team roster not showing until full on the Preparing for Drop screen?

ah thought this mean the hotfix will not bring the servers down?

No effect on servers is that part. Or Matchmaking service (from my understanding) would mean it's not effecting wait times any.

Im sure a better MM and such is well under way. I mean they cant keep the ques this bad for everyone for so long.

Nice...can't wait to get home and see if my FPS has improved. CW is fun, for sure...when it's playable.

Is there a magic number in the preparing for drop in the timer that after a certain point you should give up?
My timer is about to click over an hour?

Can't get any CW game. I've only managed to get 2 CW games in the last 24 hours and I've been trying periodically at various times yesterday. So that's 20 attempts and managed to get into 2 CW games successfully.

If no one can see people joining the lobby until it's full, players attempting to join are just going to give up after a few minutes, reducing the chances of CW games from effectively filling up. So showing people joining the lobby in real time should really ought to be a quick fix to reduce queue times for CW matches.

Just got another CW game. CW game #3. I'm honestly happy now.
It only took me 46 mins :)

looks like they will have to rduce the number of planets up for contention by about half as they do not have enough of a player base to support them as seen by the really long queue times.

Yeah, I've been leaving lobbies as I didn't realize anyone was in them. Seems like a minor oversight, but it shouldn't take too long to fix them.
