Did you guys gain a new attack option? We gained a chance to hit the Kurita planet of Moore even though we are no where near there border.

Yup was asking myself the same. How is that possible ? Not that I want to fight Kuritans at this Time. Just curious. We don't share a Border with them as much as I know.

I heard from higher up that Kurita command is giving us permission to invade them as well. Most likely so we can work our way up to meet the clans, plus help cover there border with Steiner's, but still Kurita will come alive as of the 20th, and those units will not know of this and we would make a new enemy. This is vary troubling to me, but some guys are saying it is still Bata so run with it.

Also that we can only be allowed to attack on planets that border Liao space when fighting the Davion's. It is as if the Devs want us to cut of Liao from coreworlds. When what we really want to do is regain our 3025 border worlds. We want Ventabren, Elnath, Suzano, Asuncion, Kyrkbacken, Zion, Berenson, Wasat, Vandiemen, Telitha, and Graham IV back.

The algorithm deciding what planets are available to attack is starting to fall apart it seems. FRR is able to attack all 4 clans though it only has a border with 2, but the extra two clans cannot attack back.

I think we should talk about planet swaps. Us Mariks's mainly want our 3025 border back I am sure you guys want the same, So I am bringing up the concept of when the planets become available for us to swap such as lesalles, chamdo, phact, and other planets going north word. When these planets come up for you to attack we should let you have them, but we also should be able to get worlds in return. Let me know your thoughts on this concept. Both Liao's and Marik's. I think this could be a good conversation peace for us to build our alliance.

Way back, what we did was determine an attack corridor and made sure the door was open for our Marik allies. Correspondingly, IF Steiner ever became a serious problem a reciprocal path can be determined as well to "double front shield" our friendly neighbor in the west.

I really, really wish they'd put in the Periphery worlds/factions. We could have easily worked out a southern route on the outer borders and had the Trinity Alliance a decade earlier with whoever wanted to play Canopians/Taurians.

Some systems in the game are tunable on the fly, like the matchmaker - if the CW attack algorithm is one of them, PGI might just be tuning it to give hemmed-in factions a way to attack.

Could still be a flaw in the system, too. =)

It is not.

BoS and all FWLM units I know avoid attacking Liao. Strategically speaking it makes no sense at all. At least if you are dedicated to the Free Worlds League. Which the people in question are probably not.

But what you say is still factually wrong. Alt accounts are not against the rules.

LOL, no not actually, but it is a good idea all the same.

No I was commenting that it was probably pugs because Davion had the same sort of issue with Davion factioned pugs attacking Steiner and Kuritan worlds. We Davions are happy to leave the Dragon alone to focus on the clans, however, it's hard for them to not respond when 12 random dickheads go in and start attacking them.

Careful of your paranoia, they may fit you for a tin foil hat and a jacket with long sleeves and lots of buckles...

To be honest when I saw Liao was attacking Marik, I immediately came over here to check out if there was a thread on it, and that's when I found this thread.
