If you wanna use the quirk, maybe an ERLLas and 2 MGs? It's what I was thinking to do with mine. Depending on it's performance, I might downgrade to an MPL and add 2 more MGs tho.

My ERLL, AC2 and 3 SSRM2 CN9-A is my go to irritating mech for poking enemies. Plink them with the AC, graze them with the ERLL, just make them turn and look, get their attention, annoy them.

In addition it's great at chasing away Lights and cleaning up late game (if I survive all the 'attention' I get from the red team)

I honestly don't have as much experience with the locust as I do with the spider. But I would go mpl & 4 mg. I think there is a special mindset for boating machine guns though. When I went from running a mpl or erll with 4 machine guns to running 4 mg's with a laser for added DPS it made a huge difference. You need to work yourself into situations where you can target damaged components and maintain facetime and that close range mg's require. With the large laser I found that I fell into the trap of staying out at range and poking which made the machine guns useless. When I am purposeful about closing distance and flanking enemies that is when those builds shine. But you have to use those ninja skills to get there without getting squashed.

Favorite Troll build?

Well my 3 Thunderbolts, one with 3 ER PPC, one with 3 LPL and 2 ML and the last with 2 LL, 2 ML and 2 SRM 6 Artemis. All 3 with Standard engine. They can eat much damage (when i use the arms as shield) and deal heavy damage.

And then there is my Orion V with standard 300 engine, 2 AC5 and 2 LL..... This thing is a beast, i killed Dire Wolfs in a 1 on 1 headon more than one time and survived..... without armor but most time without loosing components.

And for those who are troubled with my english..... try to write in my mother tounge (german) and then you can complain about my english

Actually this is a BAD build, as it doesnt use the 2 energy slots in the right torso which are as high as the HEAD ... unless you ALWAYS want to go counterclockwise !

None of those are troll builds. One of those is even Meta...

One Catapult A1 with 290 XL engine 6 SRM 6 + Artemis, 8 tons ammo, Endo and 2 DHS. A little bit hot but fast and makes f***king boom when you fire one Alpha or with chainfire you have a walking rocket powered fullauto shotgun.

ac20 cicada 3c, manage full armor, 3.5 tons of ammo and a ML while moving at nearly 70kph!

i enjoy the sight of enemy assaults suddenly deciding they need to kill me instead of that assault they've been fighting with.
