Patch is live, everyone!

Please keep in mind that if you did not run the Repair Tool since the April 7th patch your patch process may take a bit longer than normal. Let it do it's thing.
All future patches will be applied considerably faster from now on, thanks to the work of our Senior Engineer Krist Smith.

we made some adjustments to our patching process in an effort to improve stability and reduce patch and repair times, and we'll be releasing additional improvements with the April 21st patch.

The DL speed is really terrible, I already ran the repair tool, now it's taking 2h for a 154mb download, that I'd usually complete in like 10 seconds.

Other then that, can't wait to try out new omnipods.

I heard that the DL speed for the first people in the area is slower and the speed will get faster the more had already downloaded the files as the data would be cached at certain nodes in the network. No idea if that makes sens or is true... but I always have to wait for the patch since some months. (it's 8:50pm here, so I will download tomorrow).

Anyway, the patchnotes look good.

Edit: Patched very fast now a few minutes later :)

And again no love for the Awesome. Not even an overhaul of the model. *sigh*
That said, why was the Missle Range Quirk on the 8R even removed while the ZEU 6T is allowed to have it? Reason?
I don't want the Awesome to be a meta mech (though he'd deserve it :-D), but a polished model and better hitboxes would be, like its name sais, AWESOME!

If you're hitting slow download speeds, please try running through these steps:
  • Through your Start Menu, search for and run 'Internet Options'
  • Click the 'Connections' tab
  • Click the 'LAN Settings' button
  • De-select the 'Automatically detect settings' box
If the problem is persisting and your connection is otherwise strong, you're likely acquiring the patch from a server node that had not been previously called at the time of your download.

Stopping the patch process and then restarting the patcher may trigger better download speeds, but you would run the risk of corrupting the current patch install if the patcher was in the "Repairing" state. Suspending the patch process at that time would require that you repair/install the patch using the Repair Tool instead (which would require additional file downloads).

Since I ran the Repair Tool days ago... it looks like, I have to patch today, just about 2 hours long...

Oh... I am soooo lucky.. Right?

2 hours sounds considerably good to me.

Patching 12/41 with 15 minutes left for 13 Megabytes of part 12.

Can you beat that?

An additional change that came with this patch, but was not included in the patch notes:
  • Community Warfare O-Gen health has been increased from 175 to 250
This has been added to the original patch notes.
