An enemy mech scanner that runs a small diagnostic on any mech you target. It would sit on your dash like the mugs do but give you small readouts. doesnt have to actually scan an enemy mech it would just make you feel like you are sitting in a real mech. most of the doodads in the cockpit when you look around dont actually work. OR make the kill counter actually register when you defeat enemy mechs.

- Russ and/or Paul bobble-head
- Super Evil Laugh Warhorn (loud as crap too)
- DENIED!!! Warhorn (also loud as crap)
- Like a Boss! Warhown (you get the idea.....loud as all hell)
- Warhorn that counts what kill you earned (Target 1 destroyed, Target 2 defeated, etc)
- NERFED!!! Warhorn (......you should get it by now)
- A set of "Rockem Sockem Robots" with red and blue Gargoyles fighting
- K.O! Warhorn (wrestling bell dings twice at start)
- Fatality! Warhorn
- Die Clanner Warhorn / Freebirth Scum Warhorn (got to have both otherwise you got issues on your hands)

Something simple like a dash cam like police cruisers have, that way command can have a realtime view of the situation.
give it a blinking recording light or something

Make a series of MechWarrior tokens/badges of honor/mementos, and practical items that a MechWarrior would have on hand. These are the first few to come to mind:

-A generic laser/gauss/auto pistol (semi-autos are replaced with small auto pistols by the time Battletech rolls around for standard military side arms).

-A stack of printed out letters from home with the proper Comstar Seal, seeing as they control all communications throughout the Inner Sphere, and inter-stellar communications are done like printed out emails/telegrams.

-A stack of generic pistol magazines/battery packs.

-An ammo can of generic 5mm caseless rounds or Gauss Pistol slugs.

-An officer's pistol, properly engraved and embellished as a sign of station.

-A Wakizashi blade as a badge of honor and station as a MechWarrior (I'd say Katana but that's probably too big for a basic cockpit item).

-A personal Re-breather/Gas Mask for use in cockpit seal breaches during hazardous conditions or having to eject in more hostile climates.

-A generic technical manual for a battlemech.

-A single or a small pile of fragmentation grenades.

-A personal Holo-vid player for those long and boring nights on garrison.

-A small tool kit with various small parts/tape/etc. sitting next to it.

-A spare MRE sitting on the dash of the mech.

EDIT: A few thoughts after taking a moment . . .

-A proper Katana of station as a MechWarrior or Officer could be put into a mech across the top of the mech cockpit, as a Mounted item (across where the Christmas lights and whatnot go). It'd be hanging off two mounting points.

-Same kind of mounted item could be done for a laser/auto/gauss infantry rifle. Have the Rifle hanging mounted and can of ammo/pile of magazines sitting as the standing item.

Some pilots carried a weapon for the event that they had to leave the mech, or infantry attempted to get at the cockpit.So some kind of personal defense weapon in the cockpit would be interesting. A pistol on the dash. A Katana or Wakizashi in the corner seems like a very Kuritan thing to do as well.

What about a computer with working monitors that doesn't say "No Signal" mounted onto the side area? "Targeting Computer"?

Maybe a single LRM/SRM tube, maybe a single laser, maybe a single machine gun/flamer, maybe even a part of an AC? Maybe some basic blueprint layouts of those weapons mentioned (a small scale blueprint with a mg and bold letters stating "MACHINE GUN", with smaller scale specs, and some swag artwork by Alex, and it's a worthy blueprint item!)

I think this could work with mechs too, same idea blueprint.

BTW please don't make em low quality type banners (like Tukayyid).

Hmmm... a poptart toaster sounds good with the same idea of the Trashcan urbie item with it popping out per kill. Maybe a beer fridge/icebox with the pilot taking a sip when he kills someone? What about a gunshot/MPL like NGNG's new follower sound for a warhorn?
