Previously posted this bug here: http://mwomercs.com/...68#entry4588468

New information: This issue seems to be tied to Field of view, and can be reproduced on single monitor resolutions (1920x1200 / 1920x1080) just by setting the field of view to max. Although the problem is much more noticeable on multi monitor set ups. Issue is also much more noticeable on maps with many objects like river city, but I'm able to see the problem on most other maps as well. Confirmed the issue on 3 separate machines.

I think this might be the result of the recent optimization pass, maybe exceeding some sort of maximum objects drawn setting or something like that (wider field of view and/or multi monitors significantly increases the number objects in view). Can some one look into this? Huge quality of life issue over here, enemy mechs that are <300 meters away from me are disappearing while I'm shooting at them...

Also if any other players here can confirm this issue, please do so. Just hop into testing grounds river city and set FOV to 120 in the game menu, get up on a hill and slowly pan around the city to search for objects popping in and out.

EDIT: To be clear, the objects popping in and out are not dependent on distance, objects very close are subject to this as well, including other mechs at short and medium range.

Reported this in the last Patch Feedback:
http://mwomercs.com/...nvisable-mechs/

Still get the Issue in DX11 and tripplescreen. Mechs and other objects over 200m start flickering or disapear. You get hit by OpFor but can't return fire because they disapear once you want to aim at them. Also the constant flickering gives me headache.

Currently running 5760x1080 in DX9. Still get the flickering and i get half the FPS i get in DX11 but atleast the mechs don't completely disapear.

my right hand side screen pernamently freezes (in game , not in lab) a screenshot from the previous match. yet red and blue triangles appear through it translucently.

I think the freezing right side issue is separate from the object flickering issue (I've had the object flicker for 2 patches now, but the right side freezing is only since the last patch). For what it's worth, disabling cockpit glass seems to have fixed the freezing right side. Since disabling it, I've played about 6 or 7 games with no freeze. However, I'd much rather have the cockpit glass enabled. I know there have been complaints about cockpit glass, but I really like it - much more immersive/realistic gameplay.

I have the same issue as described by the OP. I also run 3 monitors and dx11. I could just about cope with scenery disappearing but invisible mechs (especially ecm ones that I can't target, either) almost stopped me playing.

Thankfully switching to dx9 solved the issue for now.

I am running a core i5 4670 and an AMD R9 280X.

It is a DX11 AA issue, different AA settings give different bugs under DX11. OP's issue happens with TXAA for me, MSAA bugs thermal view and FXAA produces flicker. DX9 works as it should with both AA settings.

2xGTX780 SLI 5840x1080 FOV 90 ~55-65FPS.

Nevermind, just had it on River City 2 and Mining Collective.

I also have the flickering objects issue. I'm not sure what my FOV is but I know it's set at the default value.

I can also confirm that turn off cockpit glass fixes the right screen freezing issue.

I just started playing again too and now I can hardly play because of this issue.

I have a 290x and 3 1080 screens.
