New information: This issue seems to be tied to Field of view, and can be reproduced on single monitor resolutions (1920x1200 / 1920x1080) just by setting the field of view to max. Although the problem is much more noticeable on multi monitor set ups. Issue is also much more noticeable on maps with many objects like river city, but I'm able to see the problem on most other maps as well. Confirmed the issue on 3 separate machines.
I think this might be the result of the recent optimization pass, maybe exceeding some sort of maximum objects drawn setting or something like that (wider field of view and/or multi monitors significantly increases the number objects in view). Can some one look into this? Huge quality of life issue over here, enemy mechs that are <300 meters away from me are disappearing while I'm shooting at them...
Also if any other players here can confirm this issue, please do so. Just hop into testing grounds river city and set FOV to 120 in the game menu, get up on a hill and slowly pan around the city to search for objects popping in and out.
EDIT: To be clear, the objects popping in and out are not dependent on distance, objects very close are subject to this as well, including other mechs at short and medium range.
