Good news everyone:

A secure method of keeping your session from timing out has been created and implemented. Keep an eye out as the features roll out to all users. Try logging out to see it appear on the login system.

What the system will do:
  • Keep you logged in indefinitely if you check the "Keep me logged in" check-box on login.
What the system won't do:
  • Log you in automatically.
  • Keep you logged in if you close all tabs/windows from mwomercs.com.
  • Keep you logged in if you close your browser.

I think everyone has that issue. It's a little annoying but not a major issue.

It's "working as intended". The check box will keep you logged in while the window/tab is open, but the developer of the website said a while back that this was the way they wanted it to be. I assume something to do with spammers/bots etc.

Not working as intended. After about half an hour of inaction, even with that box checked, it still logs you out.

You are correct sir! As long as the window is open, you will stay logged in. It does the same thing for my mobile... why would you ever want to leave the site anyway???

I do find it a little annoying but I'm sure it's either a bug or something minor like such. And it really isn't a big deal since logging in for me is easy. But for all of you with complex/long/rediculours usenames and passwords, my heart goes out to ya.

Could also be a problem with the web browser assuming they have not closed down their tabs or exited the browser.

I can not also stay logged in. I seem to be losing my session if I close the brower that I logged into. I can close all tabs (but not the brower) and do other stuff and come back and it will save the session. But as soon as I close the brower, I have to relog in.

Moving to website support and closing.

As the title reads, the "Keep Me Logged In" feature is not keeping us logged in.

And before a mod posts another link to this thread which reads:

Congratulations. That post was written in December of last year. It is clearly NOT working as intended.
