We had our first initiation ceremony for a couple of new members tonight, held with typical IDI decorum, aplomb and dignity.

PUG asked for "aplomb" and we heard "a bomb"...

It is a shame we failed to get a video of the game last week where all my fellow IDI members decided it was necessary to leg me..... "for my own protection" ??? then form a mech shield around me so i couldn't hurt myself. The next round of "surgery" to remove my weapons so i didn't overheat failed and my mech didn't survive. but that is OK we still won the game. IDI watching your back since 3052 removing your weapons and legs for your own protection since last week. lol good times Thanks again to Nagdamit and the newest members for following his orders blindly.it is in fairness what makes us great. we can mess around and still win.

Tonight we welcomed TheOnePush into our ranks as a full member of IDI, during his initiation ceremony many IDI members fell in combat to provide him with a proper setting for this momentous occasion in his MechWarrior career. Their sacrifices were not in vain but perhaps were not quite necessary..... we'll worry about it later.

I would also like to offer my congratulations to our "Leader of Team Disappointment" TacoRodWarrior....we are sure you will uphold our values and honour in your efforts to lead us into disappointment in glorious fashion. His "frocking" ceremony was held in similar solemn surroundings with high regard for the seriousness of his title and position.... yes we legged him and I, as Heid Honcho, stripped him of his weaponry. This act of kindness signifies the dedication and commitment Taco has shown to the cause of "disappointment" in our highly regarded and L33T unit (we has tags don't you know?).

nor was Nags repeatedly killing me to "secure" kills for the team! Bast**d got me 2 times in the same match, did over 500 team damage, got 8 kills on poor beard, while screaming MURICA, F***K YEEAAA at the top of his lungs and still mannaged to get a supply crate at the end of that match... Those poor Bears were so confused that they didnt even open the gates but jumped over em...

Another night IDI style i guess!

Joining IDI was one of the best moves i made in MWO. I have made many friends, learned alot, and had so many laughs, and i have also seen an IDI person once or twice. It is great to be a team leader i will try to live up to the title. Thanks again gents.
