Anyone notice LRMs locking on >150 meters? Did that change? I thought the minimum distance required for lock was 270m?

Nice video and I will definitely get the Centurion. I saw that there were yellow and purple lasers. Maybe they changed the laser colors or you can pick them yourself?

Centurion seems like a bad design to me. All that firepower in the arms, and paper thin armor on arms means one good volley and you could lose half your firepower or even worse, all your up close threat. It actually gets my vote for worst mech in game so far.

The actual minimum range is 180 meters for Inner Sphere LRMs (Clan LRMs have no minimum range), but they will likely lock at any range. Because of their arcing trajectory, less of them will hit at close ranges. Also, devs have said that there is a minimum warhead-arming distance -- the missiles will hit, but bounce off without doing damage.

And the Centurion is one of my favorites of the 'Mechs that have been announced. Cataphract is the other.

Regarding the large laser variant, I understand what makes each weapon in BT unique but is it really worth keeping the small lasers that they added to allow the LL to fit on the gun arm?

Yeah, I can recall that quote.

I was just surprised that at around 0:54 the Centurion could missile lock at 36 meters. The LRMs were not fired though.
