Does this mean in future, that collectors packs will be $25 and not the current $20 if they are an assault ?

These aren't mech packs, they're individual reinforement mechs, just as if you were buying any of the other hero's (or last year's loyalty reward variants) individually from the gift store. Ember, Oxide and Huggin actually cost more than this kitfox and adder do. Except for 3, the medium hero's all cost $15 or more. Except for the Dragons and quickdraw, all the other heavy heros are $20 or more, and except for the awesome and victor ones all the assault hero's are $26+. The pre-order bonus is likely the fact they're discounted from where the IS hero's of the same weight are (other than Anansi) and they include standing cockpit items, and all that superior clan tech.

The weapons depicted on the Kit Fox and Adder hero do not match the actual stats at all.

EDIT: Actually, none of the images are accurately showing the stock loadouts, and most of them don't even show the appropriate omnipods that people are paying for. This is an odd decision.

This is true for all of them. The hardpoints on these mechs don't even allow the configurations shown without swapping a lot of pods.

There needs to be an asterisk w/ disclaimer next to these images that indicate the images do not reflect actual hero mech configurations.

It clearly says "artwork does not match final loadout"

No red Nicholai Malthus Summoner-M, which I have been waiting for since Clan Heroes were first teased! FAIL!

The Mechs do look nice though.

Summoner M is in the Customer Appreciation Rewards...

they could have given us Quinn Kerensky's Summoner and totally changed how the mech is played. instead they gave us the steaming pile they did. save for the kit fox, every single one of these is worthless. More than that, only Vlad and Aidan are matched to a mech they actually piloted in books/lore. The Fact you didn't make the Dire Wolf the Widowmaker variant is appalling as it's the most iconic of the custom dire wolves. add to that, you want me to pay what it costs to buy a mechpack that comes with premium time and other goodies, for a single mech? whatever you guys are smoking you need to pass around.

I don't care, because I'm not paying for these overpriced mechs. But if I was paying for them, I'd want to see the omnipods I was paying for. I'd like to see where the 2E on the Kit Fox side torsos are located, for example.

Sold per each, as if they were hero add-on to Mech packs. Only in this case you can buy just the hero for cash and obtain all the other variants for CBills.

I don't know if I want to pay $20 just for a Timber Wolf RT energy hardpoint free of fixed JJs. (That's really all I want out of it.)

It says this where exactly? I looked up and down purchase screen and see this nowhere.
Nevermind, I see the disclaimer now on the smaller images for each.

The moment that made Aiden Prydes immortal was in a Timber. How could you pick the worst Mech of his career :/

Probably because they wanted Clan Wolf to have their signature Mech.

The Wave 1 Clan Hero FAQ conveys this information as well, but with the announcement of the Clan Heroes comes another eligibility component for the 2016 Appreciation Program.
Acquiring any one of these Hero 'Mechs prior to the deadline would qualify you for the base Clan Reward.
Acquiring any six would qualify you for the Top-Tier Clan Reward.

Yes, true. I guess if I wait for the Summoner-M to be released for MC or Cbills, then I could just paint one red. A hero version with a Nikolai Malthus warhorn would have been cool though.

Not impressed . . . especially with pricing. Rather large pre-order discount on the assaults vs. in game MC purchases (which are nearly $40 USD vs. $25 USD Pre-order) . . . however the discount on the mediums is mediocre (~$18-$19 USD vs. $15 Pre-order) and the discount on the lights is nearly non-existent (~$9-$11 USD vs. $10 Pre-order). That's just eye-balling the prices without any in-depth math.

You'd get better deals on the lights and mediums by just waiting for them to be put in-game and waiting for them to go on sale for the typical 30-50% off MC prices.

Regardless, the pre-order is only financially really worth it if you want a heavy or assault. Otherwise it's a question of can you wait patiently for May -and then later for a sale- or not? I know that right now I have no desire to open my wallet for this, so patience it is.

So at the least, $90 USD to qualify for Top-Tier Clan Reward.
