So that would mean I have to create an account on this Twitch thing, then? And does the account name have to match my MWO name?

There is a twitch link in the original post. Just click on that. It is completely free and easy to create an account so you can log in. No, your twitch account name does not have to be the same as your MWO account name. It can be though, if you want it to be.

Congratulations to all the finalists.

However, I can't help but feel a little bit disappointed in how the finalists were chosen, especially when I predicted this problem back in June (http://mwomercs.com/...am-withdrawals/).

Now a team with less losses was rulebooked out because another team got lucky and a team they lost to withdrawed.

A fair way would have been to start eliminating losses to the teams still in the game from bottom rankings up, until only top 5 remain. And if there's still more than 5 that haven't lost to other teams, then use the 3-way tiebreaker rule (http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__5395893).

in all seriousness are we able to move the oceanic finals forward an hour or two? daylight savings has kicked in for parts of Australia, and we had matches finishing at 11.15pm on a Sunday night! With more games being played this time around i think it's only fair/smart/ intelligent to shuffle it forward a bit. While we're all going to show up anyways there won't be many OC viewers up that late when they've got work the very next morning. let alone players able to give their best if falling asleep on keyboards

I'm still unsure why you picked a Sunday night and not a Friday/Saturday though.

It would have been a night that all team captain said was ok,

Forward will not work for teams who most members are not east coast or living in non daylight savings areas. ( few of our memebers are starting at 6PM there time)

whats wrong with 6pm? it's a Sunday evening not like a weeknight where people have to get home from work people (most) will already be there. not that hard to have dinner earlier...

Going to guess you're a Queenslander live lol

Todays EU match is at 19:30 CEST, not 18:30. We scheduled it for 17:30 UTC.

I am also looking forward to watching as many of these matches as I can. I really had a great time participating in this tournament. As one of the teams that did not make it to the finals I am still cheering on our teams from The Americas to take the cup! (What was said earlier about the Aussies aim improving with alcohol is so true BTW! We have several in the Rangers! Lol)

We better stop talking about this or someone there will sabotage the alcohol supply to throw them off their game...

So when are those cockpit items coming out, supporting our favorite team? Or did you not want to make money off that and canned it?

I remember they said at twitch channel the NA part 2 was due on tuesday 18th.

Incredible: is there anywhere black-on-white what the actual schedule is? For that matter, I can't now find anywhere on print who the EU and Oceanic finalists are!

NA Day 2 is tonight at 10pm ET. This day was contingent on who got knocked out on Day 1. It was the best we could do and I appreciate the teams flexibility.
