Liao, mainly due to the hateful posts made by some of their members towards House Davion. I'm also find their political system abhorrent and their leaders dangerously insane.

Davion. Who wants to play for the fanboy mary-sue zerg faction when you can be a real man and play for the underdogs?

I highly doubt most of the Davion players are here because it's popular to be Davion.

Im a bit green on the lore but some things I hooked up on.. kinda.

World of Blake. Seriously, a bunch of nutty space zealots. Marik, you should have hammered down their influence in your midst before it wrong, and of the rails.

As far as I got into the lore, I respect Steiner and Kurita, since they helped us after we fought for independence. But something did indeed went awry when the clans came spearheading into the sphere. Sad. But theres always room for revolution even under the bears claws with their khans and rituals!

Davion are cool and mostly appearing goody toe shoes, but kinda bland, way to popular =p and have some dirt on your wings too. Liao, well you have indeed some good sides and kicks ass when needed. Though cunning as all *insert fitting word*.

Liao
The Capellan Confederation started out as a collection of states united for common defense and well-being, but over hundreds of years, through the influences of certain schools of philosophy and the leadership of House Liao, it has evolved to become an autocratic state with a controlled economy. Nearly all the power in the Capellan Confederation is actually held by the Chancellor.
The Capellan Confederation, more than any other state in the Inner Sphere, is indifferent to all forms of organized religion. Although a wide segment of the Capellan Confederation, especially the worlds near Terra, still practice organized religion, most of the population is either agnostic or adheres to the state-sponsored atheism of the Capellan government.
Unlike the other Successor States of the Inner Sphere, where individuals are born with citizenship, in the Confederation, citizenship is a benefit to be earned. All minors in the Capellan Confederation are technically wards of the state under the provisional supervision of their parents. Failure to earn citizenship after one's second evaluation relegates an individual to the class of non-citizens referred to as servitors. The life of a servitor is harsh, because a servitor has no legal rights within the Confederation. Servitorship, however, is not a lifetime sentence, as citizenship can still be earned as a servitor, although the task becomes significantly harder.

Maximilian Liao offered Anton Marik two things: his daughter in marriage and the assassination of Anton's brother, Captain-General Janos Marik. To win the throne, Anton agreed, and the Free Worlds League plunged into a devastating civil war...
His work done, Maximilian Liao just sat back and smiled.
The Confederation stayed out of the War of 3039 and was barely affected by the Clan Invasion. Nonetheless, Romano traveled to Outreach in 3051 with the other leaders of the Inner Sphere. There, the healthy paranoia Romano nursed showed in her general disdain for Jaime Wolf and his pleas for peace and cooperation against the Clans. Romano angrily left the summit before the others did, but not before being challenged by her sister, Duchess Candace Liao of the St. Ives Compact. Romano did what she usually did when somebody challenged her authority: she directed an assassin to kill Candace and her husband.
Maximilian's daughter Romano was quite insane.
The apple did not fall far from the tree as SunTzu is concerned but as our current Inner Sphere date is prior to Sun Tzu becoming Chancellor after his mother's assassination in 3052, I will leave that one alone.

Suffice it to say, the Capellan Confederation incites rebellion within the Marik Border, attacks the Mariks wherever and whenever it can knowing that House Marik cannot reply and be able to maintain itself at the same time. House Liao follows the Sarna Mandate (from the Sarna Supremacy, one of the founding Capellan States) and will not work with the other houses even to save itself, but maybe to make itself look superior.

FRR is a puppet nation and nothing more than a buffer between the Lyran Commenweath and the Draconis Combine, and would not exist if not for both of those houses benefiting from having that buffer.

Steiner house is led by Catherine Steiner who is almost as bad as Maximilan Liao but less insane. The commonwealth is more about profit and money than making war or seeing to their needy. Steiner policy is to throw money at a problem that they do not want and to throw propaganda at problems they do want but do not want to lose. The bottom line for them is how much it costs and how much they are willing to part with. Apparently having one's own parents assassinated is a prerequisite to becoming Archoness.

Davions are supremacists and a generally war mongering lot and likely would have collapsed under the weight of the military expenditures long ago if not for the merchants of the Lyran Commonwealth. Davions care less about their people and more about their war machines. Why the Draconis Combine has not crushed the Davions is beyond the scope of Clan Ghost Bear.

The Draconis Combine is at least honorable and straight forward, less bothered by internal strife and intrigue as they are masters of it.
