Good morning,

I thought it might only have been a glitch, but I'm not able to check the block for Log Me In Automatically and have it stick. If I closed this page, now, and came back in a minute, I would have to log in all over again. Just thought you might like to know.

same here. Probably like other issues is due to the amount of logins and the fact it is not feature complete?

1. After logging in successfully, the page does not refresh to update your abilities (ie, I now see "PROFILES" but am still not able to make posts until I make another subsequent call to the page.

This is a known bug in the forum software. There's nothing we can do until the forum vendor solves this. Keep an eye on this forum for more information when we upgrade the forum software.

2. "Remember me" option does not work. I do not have cookies disabled and am not sure also if you're running on a set session duration and then auto-logging users out, but the Remember Me option does not save any of my credentials so that next time I login, I just have to press SUBMIT. Instead I have to re-type my email address and password

The 'Keep Me Logged In' only extends your cookie for longer than the 1 hour normal timeout. It does not save your credentials.

On an unrelated note, attempting to log in brings me to a white page. I have to go back a page and reload to "successfully" complete the login process.

Is not working for me. There doesn't seem to be a reproduction step other than in activity. I never close my browser.

Same as well here, i keep my window open

edit** Although I suspect it might have enough to do with the fact there are 200 people logged in at once.

I too experience this issue on Opera. Closing the browser, even though it reopen tabs, or being idle for 10 minutes logs me out.

One of the devs posted in another thread that the forum login is session-based, and does not store your login details locally on a cookie. The "Keep me logged in" toggle just extends your session time.

Yeah, Ghost, and Devs, it should do more than that. If I have that Always Keep Me Logged In box checked, I should be able to reasonably expect that it will always keep me logged in, right?

Many users expect this functionality to keep them logged in forever (or at least until the cookie is deleted), please consider changing that functionality to meet user expectations, users who wish to be logged out normally don't check the "Keep Me Logged In" toggle, while those who do wish to stay logged in indefinitely would check that box.

I am also having the "Keep me logged in" issue. I'm currently running an ancient Pentium 4 box with Windows XP and Google Chrome.

Yes, I plan to upgrade, and have been planning to upgrade - once the requirements for MWO come out.

I have been waiting for over a decade for something that was true to battletech.
