Anyone have any alternatives to Smurfy.de ?
http://mwo.smurfy-net.de

If/when this upcoming PSR update coming in May 2021, and Smurfy.de does not update these, then it'll be seriously outdated. No chasis variant updates (no TDR-10SE), and no new updates to equipment stats & ghost heat.

Smurfy has been the goto site for me to peruse for:

a) Equipment stats, ghost heat, etc.
~What is the minimum range for this weapon? What is its damage and its range? How much heat does it give off? How long is its cooldown? Can I equip 4 of these without triggering ghost heat penalty? etc.

b ) Differences in layout for various chasis variants.
~For example, compare weapon hardpoint differences between TDR-5SS vs TDR-9SE.
~For example, quickly compare the torso/arm/leg/head options for Hellbringer OmniMech to choose from.
One simple look at variant torso/arm/leg/head overview, and I will know exactly that to get.

[Edit]
MechDB: I feel this is much stronger in presenting the quirks for various variants.
http://mech.nav-alpha.com

But for above (a) + (b ) purposes, I feel that Smurfy is much stronger.
But Smurfy is about to be seriously outdated!
eg: New change to firing 3x Snub-Nose PPC without triggering ghost heat penalty, etc.

There is : https://mech.nav-alpha.com/

It doesn’t have everything you want but you can build mechs like smurfy and it is currently still being updated-

I use Li Song http://www.li-soft.org/

It pulls all values directly from the game files on your computer, so if your MWO client is up to date, so is Li Song (assuming you have Li Song set up correctly)

Other than that, mech.nav-alpha.com is your best bet for the time being

The [Gulag version of MechDB](https://gulag.nav-alpha.com/) is compatible with other [MechDB]
https://mech.nav-alpha.com/

Looks like it has been updated for "the cauldron" tm.
https://thecauldron.nav-alpha.com/

For the Un-Chris'ening of MWO!

This should go a long way to roll back the unfunning and make more weapons viable.

Thanks for the efforts of all involved.

Wow, very interesting, thanks for your referral!

1. So where can we find the Ghost Heat info for weapons?

Been that way for some time, the recent patch that made changes like increased PPC damage and CD time, not reflected on the site. Shame, could not use it to compare to the MW5 table.

Just go to WeaponLab in Li Song's MechLab, hover over the weapon of your choice, and the popup bubble will show the maximum number of this weapon boated before Ghost Heat kicks in! Posted Image

This is a very good program; wish I found this earlier!

Thanks to Aidan Crenshaw's heads-up, there is a suitable Smurfy replacement:

MechDB (Alpha v2.0 currently--but it's good enough to be used right now!)

https://mwo.nav-alpha.com/mechs
https://mwo.nav-alpha.com/equipment
https://mwomercs.com...-the-mwo-client

1. Just gave MechDB alpha 2.0 a spin, and it's a full replacement of the old (outdated) Smurfy!
Especially appreciate:
~Weapons stats table
~Weapons Ghost Heat table
~Mech Table View (useful for quickly figuring out mech hardpoint differences within the same chassis, especially for OmniMechs).
~I only use the Mech Tile View for viewing mech quirks.
~It's got interesting Ghost Heat info such as what happens when you fire 6x Clan UAC5 at the same time!

Missing Info (But hey, this is Alpha version, to be expected!):
~Jump Jet info
~I wish that the Mech Table View's right hand side also shows the mech quirks, that would be very useful!

So glad there is a more up to date source for ghost heat.

The patch notes have been very lacking on the actual values for the ghost heat changes.

Li Song Mechlab just got a new update!

Looks like the MWO ecosystem is back up and running... content streamers, and now Li Song Mechlab! ;)

Greetings!

I can not help you with the original MechDB, but I would like reccommend you to try MechDB 2.0

This is the more advanced version of the original MechDB.

In the MechDB 2.0 you can add or remove actuators as you see fit (if the MWO 'Mech design allows for that, of course).

See the screen captures, please.

No luck on that regard. You'll just have to leave the appropriate number of slots open.
