Double Charge - Support

Someone posted in a thread (that I can't find some reason) about getting double charged and support told them that since the transaction had already went through, they would not be able to get a refund...
Just wondering if anyone has tried to get a refund yet?

Call the customer service number on the back of your credit card and explain the situation. Tell them you want to contest one of the charges. That's what I'll be doing if I don't hear back soon.

they they have it set up to not refund after payment processes and not process tickets until more than enough time for the payment to process.
its set up so they don't have to refund your money.

beaware that most CC/bank will have you wait 30-60 days before they can do a chargeback.

I'm lucky that my bank is quick about this and having me fill out and sign an affidavit within 10 days. It would be nice if i didn't have to escalate it like this over something that should be fixed with a call to customer service.
Perhaps this is why you can only ring them via having Visa customer service transfer you.
In other words they seem to be hiding to make it as obtuse as possible so they can keep their ill gotten gains.

I agree with you.... Should be a simple fix but instead it seems they are going to keep the money so they can keep their percentage made from the transaction from PGI
If PGI can't help me then I will call my bank, hopefully hear something tomorrow!

One of the risks of opening a merchant account for cc/debit processsing is that the contract requires the merchant to allow for banks to take the money back if the investigation done into the customer's complaint determines that is required.

Please be informed that we have forwarded this ticket to the concerned department to issue refund for two of your purchases at MechWarrior Online on 2012-08-02 and we will get back to you as soon as possible."

You'll just have to play twice as much to get your money's worth!
Seriously though, hope you get this worked out. Please keep us informed though. It'll be good to know how difficult dealing with PGI support is going to be.
