The sounds of the alarms had been ringing for what seems forever finally went silent, but still the red lights were still flashing. Was this another drill or was this the real thing? The tech's knew that if they woke him from his cryo sleep again for a drill he would have someone’s head. They decided it was better to call the officer of the day and confirm what they needed to do.
"Officer of the Day, Jace speaking." Jace heard the highly excited tech on the other end of the line speaking in a very high voice and entirely to fast to understand. "Yes you ***** I know the alarms have sounded I heard them too, you need to calm down." More high pitched mumbling from the receiver end of the comlink, "Wake him up.. yes you heard me, on my orders. No, I do not think this is a drill, do you really think I want him woken up at all? Start the process and lets hope none of his brain cells were fried" Jace closes the comlink and prays he has done the right thing. He tried to lay back down but knows this will not be a restful sleep.
The tech lifts the protective cover off the switch. Looks at his co-worker for reassurance one last time. Places his finger on the switch and lifts it.
A computer voice comes over the loud speaker, “Thawing process will commence in 30 seconds..."

Yeah, any units -not- on the hub should get on the hub. It's nice to see more people hanging out. I can neither confirm nor deny that beta drops are coordinated there just as I can neither confirm nor deny that I am in the beta. While I don't officially represent the hub, I know for a fact everyone is welcome to use the services offered by it, thanks to the generosity of the few who keep it running. I know the sky rangers have their own thing going on, and that's cool, but there are plenty of other units out there who could benefit from using the hub.

I am very interested in joining House Steiner, I've signed up for the forums, and have a couple questions.
1. Are there any units that doesn't care too much if i'm not such a great player?
2. I may be blind, but I can't seem to find the TeamSpeak3 info. I've also never used Teamspeak before, can someone provide a link in the right direction?
3. Not really a question, but you guys seem awesome.

Yeah, I think the filters were written either by a nine year old child, a psycho-mom, a sunday school teacher, or more likely a highly-attuned (read overly sensitive) piranha community relations team love you guys, hate the unnecessary filters.

As for coolaid, I'm not sure I like the unintentional implications of drinking coolaid while serving the archon and archon-prince.

Training opportunities are being scheduled. Topics include basic and advanced 'Mech piloting, lance communications, and Lance Leader training.

Most of the training is hands-on. Plenty of live fire too.

Better get registered; training slots will fill up fairly quick considering the Hub has more than 270 registered players from 17 different regiments and mercenary units.

How about that dropship ride in? I guess that’s why they call it Solaris (hahaha)

You guys may not know this, but I consider myself…a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when PGI brought the HuB home, I knew they where one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew . So were many…so there was many of us in the pack. I…I was alone first in the pack, and then several joined in later.

And 6 months ago, when the HuB introduced me to you guys. I thought…wait a second, could it be. And now I know for sure, I just added a few more guys to my wolf pack. Lots of us wolves running around the desert together, in the Inner Sphere looking for strippers and *******. So tonight, we make a toast!
