So what are you or your unit doing to prepare for the MWO launch? Are you playing MWLL or MW4 ? What kind of missions are you running or maps are you using to train on? Are you playing against other units?

Preparations for MWO:
1.) It's always good to stretch before playing some MWO.
2.) Eat a healthy, balanced breakfast.
3.) ROUTINE BOWEL MOVEMENTS.
And you're good to go.

Getting my old RPG group together to form up our Merc Corp for MWO. Paint scheme, chain of command, role allocation and lots of Megamek are being gone over.

Playing MWLL myself. Same/similar graphics engine, live opponents, extremely varied maps. I think that MWO will be vary similar to MWLL in the feel of the mechs and movement. The varied terrain of the maps is also nice going from long range LRM/sniper fest on one to short/medium range on another to nearly whiteout conditions on a third snowmap.

Since you Sir deserve the most sincere respect for that comment i've taken the liberty to search for a song long and wonderful enough to bring some happiness into those awful hours.

Enjoy! (youtube video inside the link)

ps.: I probably sleep a lot before the start so i won't have to waste too much time on it right after the launch.

Stockpiling some tasty beer (Cooper's Pale Ale) and corn chips.

Also I'm practicing 'Mech controls by wearing a bandana and cape and flailing around on city streets, accusing random people of being Clanner spies. I'm sure that this training regimen will be invaluable once MWO comes out.

Ordered a Thrustmaster Warthog.

Playing Megamek to get familiar with the units of the time, and installing the free MW4 to give it another spin.
