Come to think of it, the PC gamer skin has the same effect.

Wrong. CN9-D has 2 Ballistics hardpoints in its Right arm and 2 Energy hardpoints in its chest. In fact, it ALSO has 2 missile hardpoints in its left torso as extras. You can't claim that it has "no equivalent" when there is, in fact, an equivalent. (Just ignore the missile tubes and tada! A Wang without a paintjob!)

I only ever grief the Yen-lo-wangs for supporting PGI going pay to win.
Can't win in a Mech/tank that's available to everyone I see?
This is two of the most ******** things I've seen in print in the same post. Well played sir.
First point, the Wang is not some godly unbeatable mech. It's a mediocre medium mech that gets 30% more C-bills at the end of the match. There is a stock variant that is effectively the same thing minus the bonus cash.
Second point. Game development isn't free. Someone has to pay PGI for making the game. Cheap ***** like you won't do it but fortunately there are older Battletech fans that have grown up and gotten real jobs who can drop 20, 30 or even 120$ on a game just because they want to be sure there are more Battletech games in the future. Feel free to leech off of us, better yet get a taste for Battletech and actually pay to support a Battletech game 10-20 years from now when you spend more on lunch than you're whining about paying to win.
Face it, some of the players are young and have gobs and gobs of free time to grind out C-bills until their eyes bleed. That's great, you don't see me calling for an hour a day play time limit to balance the game for people with a job vs kids. On the other hand there are those of us who grew up playing TT, have jobs that pay very well and families that take up a fair amount of free time. We can drop a couple bucks, so we're the real customers.
Complaining that someone gets more C-Bills than you is just stupid. If I were PGI I would make sure the only way to get Clan mechs was MC. You can play all you like in freebie mechs, but if you want a Timberwolf you cough up 1800MC, you want that Dire Wolf? Great, 2400MC. Lifetime free repairs like a Trial mech, after all clan warriors do not concern themselves with petty things like money or ammo.
Just putting it out there PGI, Clans MC only, no repair cost. TT stats. You will make money.

Either way, I don't see a problem with the YLW or founder's benefits. As long as they are available to all players.

The griefing was lots, and much OP was shouted, great times were had by the Wang'kers.
When 2 of our clan mates hopped in theirs, it just became a stompfest, this was in 8man times.
My point its a great mech, just like any other mech is, it all comes down to piloting and tactics.
As to why i bought one?
I'm a Collector ^^
