No the devs dont care AT ALL, Nerfing them i could live with but taking out the grouping for Artemis IV? What the hell do i need to buy it for then? Its useless now! Instead of making it LOS activated only you decided to listen to the whinners and voila, nerf of the day. Uau i really know where my money is going. Hawken.

1. I believe AMS needs to be looked at versus Artemis enabled missles. Weapons should be balanced around SPAM of them. In future testing, please spam weapons especially if they are getting buffed.

2. And thanks for the quick fix.

3. Wouldn't hurt to give the Test Director's *** a good chewing out too

4. For future reference it would be good to group things like this into systems like Missles (with components of sSRMs, SRMs LRMs, NARC, Tag, Fartemis, ECM) and release them all together so the complete system can be tested in regards to balance. Drip feeding this stuff means more work for us and the test team, more whining which clogs up the boards and makes it difficult to spot the real issues versus the crybabies.)

5. I am an old TT player and I love what has been done with the game. I believe sticking closely to TT is NOT a good thing for a real time video game and I support what you guys are trying to do (with money too!).

While I won't be going to Hawken, I do agree that it's a bad idea to take out the grouping for Artemis IV. There has to be some benefit to Artemis other than faster locks. Nerf the firing angle, yes. Nerf the damage a bit, yes. Nerf firing angle, damage AND grouping - please don't. Otherwise, Artemis is just a wasted couple of tons on my mech - unless of course it'll help me burn through ECM faster once that's implemented.

Yippee, skip! I find it not so fun to be in a Commando moving under the wings of one of those planes on River Assault when I get the incoming missile msg and still getting blown up by LRMs from across the map.

Third person cockpit, as in when you fall down and die from LRM falling on you.

The cockpit model tears, so half the mech's "head" is missing. I thought they just added in WAY MORE explody bits to the mechs.

My Hunchback has hit the ground missing a huge portion of the top of the mech in recent days. No, third person view is not in the game as a usable option yet.

Let me clarify this post for you all:

1) LRM damage is being decreased *slightly*
2) The LRM trajectory has been fixed. It was a bug that cause the 90-degree drops on the top of your Mech.
3) The Artemis isn't LOSING the group tightening, it's just not going to be as tight. How much is it being reduced by? 5%.
4) It's not a 3rd person cockpit. It's the 1st person cockpit that gets drawn around your pilot. It would shift out of destroyed Mech when you spectate them in 3rd person.

You say you saw how "unbalanced" DHS were at 2.0, through your "internal testing"... yet it misses this kind of "obvious to a 12yr-old" bug?

Glad to hear that your going to bring LRMs back into balance. LONG over due.
For the LRM boat captins already moaning about Artemis. He didnt say that it wasnt going to do anything they are just going to mod the spread some. I know , it will be hard not being the single most overpowering force on the field but you will get use to it.

3rd person cockpit issue: Sometimes when dying and falling on my mech's back, I've been able to actually SEE INSIDE my cockpit from a top down view.
