Prior to the patch the game ran fine, now I'm lucky to get 10-12 fps in a fight. All my settings are the same, anyone else having similar problems?

Edit: http://mwomercs.com/...k/page__st__120

Cross post from the patch forum, seems they are looking into it though no news thus far. Thanks to Budor for the link.

Thanks for the bump I guess, good working up your post count.

What setup are you running? Mines somewhat old, dual core processor and a 560 ti, still I had perfectly fine FPS this morning on any map other then original Colony. Not sure what would have changed but it's definitely patch related, nothing in my PC has shifted in the last 6 hours.

Sometimes I get a bad FPS (~5fps) drop after several matches. Its strange because it only happens when I look in a certain direction on a map (usually when i'm looking in the general direction of water in the River City and Forest Colony maps), and when I look away my FPS goes back to normal again (20+fps).

I'm still downloading the latest patch but i'll report back here if I get any issues with this.

4 guys i just dropped with, 2 have high end machines, 2 low end, everyone experienced a 10 FPS drop, just easier to cope with on high ends. even the high end machine had stuttering issues though.

There is a known Memory Leak bug that causes the "4 FPS" issue after a few matches, it can also cause all your graphics to go blocky. Should be unrelated to whatever we are experiencing at the momeny. Also I think Forest Colony has been bugged on certain systems for a very long time, some people have found help with FC by turning off Ambient Occlusion for the MWO Launcher via the Nvidia control panel (seems to be an nvidia issue). That never helped me personally though.

Any info on the post patch performance would be helpful. Maybe it's a problem with the 560, though Im not sure why it would be.

Well at least it's good to know it's definitely not a local issue. A 10 fps drop would be in the range of what I'm seeing.

After the last patch dropped my average fps, i was really hoping this one would clear it up.
Sadly now it's dropping to unplayable fps (17-20 instead of 30-40) more often, and using more resources while doing so. And settings really don't change a thing for me performance wise.

I really hope they do some performance work soon. :(

I was running upper 20's low 30's prior to this patch. Now I hit low 20's upper teens

It must be something unrelated to hardware then since none of us seem to have much in common with our systems. Bleh I was hoping we were done with the massive performance bombs when Open Beta started, hmm.

i5 2500k @ 5ghz, 2x 570gtx sli, win64.

I was monitoring my fps very closely the last days because i tried to figure out what to use for recording (dxtory, fraps, msi afterburner) and trying to get help with a custom config that only turns of dof while keeping everything else at game-default very high here: http://mwomercs.com/...es/page__st__80

My fps dropped immensly with this patch, noticed it right away on the first drop. I turned the custom config off (removed patchfiles, user.cfg etc.) and returned to everything high, post processing low. Still my fps are 5-10 less than they used to be if not worse.

I really don't know what they could have done. The only thing I saw in the notes was optimization for Forest Colony original, unfortunately instead of improving that map they seem to have made every other map run like it does /facepalm. Anyway, hopefully some kind of response will be incoming and we won't have to wait a week +.

Side note, does anyone know if custom user.cfgs still function? Haven't needed one since closed beta but maybe it could help ferret out whats causing the problem.
