Just to be clear, this thread is just a pool of players who have indicated their interest in casual, no commitment grouping. It is not a clan / corp or any other type of organised group.

How to Start: Add people from the list by clicking on "Social" in the game client, click the "Friends" tab and click on "Add Friend". Type the name of the player you want to send the invite to and hit "Enter". Do not touch your mouse. Immediately start typing name of next player and hit "Enter". Rinse and repeat.

Grouping: Rather than waiting for an invite, click on the "Group" tab, then click "Create Group" and select 4 or 8 player maximum / required. Unless you want to play 8 premade vs 8 premade, click 4 player maximum and click "Create". Once created, click "Close" and then click on "Friends" tab.

Spam group invites by clicking on friends whose names are green (click cautiously or you will add him / her to block list or delete from friends list) and select "Invite to Group". System message will appear to indicate whether the invite was successfully sent or it failed (already in a group). Continue till you have filled your team or it appears no one else will be joining.

Once group is filled and everyone is "Ready", click on blue button next to "Launch" at the top right to select mode. Then click "Launch"

Chatting: Double clicking on a name in the Friends list will open up a chat. Doing the same while in group will open up group chat window. However, Social chat is currently buggy and if you wish to chat, I have set up a temp chat room to get around this. Instructions for the chat room are here.

Colours of names in Friends list: Green = online, not in game. Yellow = online, in game. Red = offline.

Just FYI that House Marik is organising an event that some of you may be interested in.

I asked about acting as filler i.e. Lone Wolf role but someone suggested getting people together to register as a quasi Merc corp. Not sure if enough people here would be interested but just thought I'd let you guys know about it.

Well, feels like a longshot posting here. I'm short on time at the moment, so I can't actively look for other posters to add, but hopefully someone will add me and we can team up in the next few days!

My preferred mech is a CTF-2x/3D. I like to support the heavy guys as additional firepower, and I'm also a pretty decent shot with my MPL, AC/5, and PPC on the light mechs that like to swarm the big guys.

Mainly use MWO chat system; running the game on a laptop with 15-20 fps. Dunno if the webcam mic would be convenient for TS though.
