Patch day today. some things to please bear in mind:

Server downtime typically begins around 10 am PST (1pm EST, 6 pm GMT)

Server downtime typically lasts about 2-3 hours. Forums will be down/unstable during this downtime.

Patch deployment comes after the downtime (approx 1pm PST, 4 pm EST, 9pm GMT)

Patch notes are typically not delivered until the patch deployment phase.

There is no need to make multiple threads about 'when is the patch' and 'why isn't patch deployed at y time instead of x'. This is their (approximate) schedule.

some items to expect in today's patch:

Battlemech visual customization http://mwomercs.com/...zation-phase-1/ which includes camo and paint; some mechs do not yet have full camo functionality

Premium time activation system(for founders) http://mwomercs.com/...eature-roadmap/

******** Betty (partial) some fancy female computer voice for your mech! http://mwomercs.com/...eature-roadmap/

Possible weapon balancing (???) http://mwomercs.com/...apon-balancing/

Note that bug fixes do not count as "upcoming content" so bug fixes are not listed here. Expect some bug fixes to be included in the patch as well, but we'll have to wait and see which fixes have been delivered.

Patch Notes will be available here when they are ready (still a few more hours to go!)

http://mwomercs.com/game/patch-notes

There may be some items in the new patch you do not like or do not agree with. Please be mindful that the Devs who read the forum are not necesarily the ones resposible for changes/new systems; be respectful while posting any disagreements or negative opinions you may have. Negative opinions are allowed: Angry insults and otherwise useless forum rage is not useful feedback, however. Be constructive.

The only thing I expect from this patch is to be disappointed, as usual.

OP you missed out random unexplained FPS drops, further client instability and another weapon system inexplicably breaking and being abused for 2 days until PGI hotfix it.

But it's ok, just copy this post into the OP (:

I can't wait for all the fixes to exploits and bugs that this patch will address.

Thanks for the informative write up! I'd prefer it if such information comes from an official source though and on multiple communication channels.Maybe this will happen once open beta has settled and things are getting normal for PGI.

You guys are either masochists or just enjoy having a reason to complain.

You forgot the part where the follow on Hotfix's will deployed ~ 3 hours after patch goes live and than the following two or three days you will see a series of ninja hotfixes.

Maybe get some better in house quality testers or make them earn their cheeba break by doing some testing not high as Giraffe pu$$y before you give them there daily allotment of BC KGB and Ho-Ho's.

The in house testers work very hard, and the bugs they find and quash would would astound and amaze you.

Way too much negativity on these forums, I always thought MW and Battletech attracted a more “mature” group. :(

I didn't know MWO had decayed to long-term relationship status already.
