A thought on snipers. As powerful as their armament may be, it is highly specialized and limited to direct fire weapons. Use a recon 'Mech, fast and difficult for the sniper to detect, as spotter for your indirect fire weapons, which can counter attack snipers without exposing your 'Mech.
