i read the synopsis for a few of these on book sites. and none of them seem to even mention the marik
is there a marik saga sort of thing i can get? i think the wolfs dragoons are cool and all but give marik some love
In the original series, most of the novels were mostly about Davion, Steiner, and the Clans. However, there were a few novels that dealt with the Free Worlds League more than others...
'The Price of Glory" - deals with the Gray Death Legion taking a contract with Marik and Comstar and discovering a lostech computer on helm.
"Ideal War" is about Thomas Marik creating the Knights of the Inner Sphere ultra elite unit (imagine Camelot and King Arthur but with Battlemechs) - the story was bland, IMHO.
Camacho's Caballeros novels KIND OF deal with the Free Worlds League since they come from them - but not really.
That would be...
"Close Quarters", "Hearts of Chao"s, and "Black Dragon"
Please note, there were several novels that dealt with the Free Worlds League and Thomas Marik - did you know (spoiler alert) he was FUGLY and ...
(The most successful Captain-General of the Free Worlds League (Thomas Marik) was not the real Thomas Marik and Victor Davion pretty much kidnapped his son and had him impersonated when his son died and Thomas Marik was very angry?)
