There is nothing PGI can do to please the entire playerbase. They could make MWO a complete MMORPG, with full integration of BattleTech, MechWarrior, AeroTech, CityTech, BattleTroops, BattleForce, and for giggles, the entire Shadowrun universe; there will still be someone out there complaining that PGI is runining or has ruined the game.

This is why developers for most games never show their faces on the forums for their own game.

they could just turn off group play for the week end, instead they give everyone an opt in choice, and try to make it fun.

A Plethora of Raven-3L's with ECM + SSRMs will be the top 50 on lights

Splatterpults will be the top of the Heavy leaderboard due to the massive raw damage they can deal with them, leading to massive match scores on average.

So, on that note, the brackets that will be interesting are Medium and Assault.

Well, I think I will be running FRAPS this weekend and not exit the match when being killed.

If people are silly enough to think that they might be able to rig damage scores with their fellow "solo sync drops" they have to realise they may be caught on camera as players record them.

LOL - Have to laugh... Just came from a conquest match where their were 7 Raven 3Ls in total among the two teams. I played my Founders Jenner and thus was the first one to die in a ball of SSRMs.

It is going to be an interesting weekend!

Well, I came to the forums just looking for an answer you did get. The way the rules were worded it DID indicate that dropping in a group even once would disqualify you.

I am glad to see that is not the case.

I plan on using hunchbacks. My 4sp and my 4g founders specifically. Hey, if I'm gonna compete, might as well get the c-bill boost at the same time.
