Been playing alot this week and only killed one so far (AWS-8R vs AWS-PB). Haven't seen any others.

I still say the PB needs another weapon slot. Any other weapon slot.

I always seem to end up in a match with another Pretty Baby on the opposite team whenever I play mine.

Most mechs cost an insane amount of MC(or real money), Hero mechs are even worse, ergo they aren't that common.

Problem with the PB is that it's actually inferior to the standard Awesomes, not better. It really, really needs an extra energy slot or two.

I have run both an 8T and a PB with 2LL and 2LRM20 and the 8T is just so much better. All the missiles fire together and both lasers (one in each arm) track together, which is great for zapping mediums that try to run behind you. On the PB, one laser is fixed and the other one tracks, and the limited missile ports on the arm means the arm-mounted LRM takes forever to fire.

I'm increasingly of the opinion that the extra CB bonus just isn't worth the extra frustration.

I want to point out that the PB is terrible... but then I feel kind of bad for the folks who paid over thirty dollars to drive the terrible mech.

I would have liked to have bought a hero AWS but PB looks to cartoonish for me and it's hardpoints are not that great either. IMO
I may still buy one but not until I see other hero mechs. 6000MC is too much for an ugly mech.

They got sick of getting wasted all the time? Faced one yesterday (only one I've seen that day), and I cored him quickly on his side torso because every single one of them is wearing xl engines. Threw in a casual "xl noob" in the chat afterwards and the guy got really mad . Probably not the first time he suffers from his xl engine. I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped playing him after that.

9M pretty much outclasses it. PB has very diverse hard points which make it a good all-round mech for maps like Alpine, but for the other maps it just can't specialize in an area(boat something).
