I am playing last night with 2 buds on comms. We were having a pretty successful night, winning most of our matches. Then we ran into what seemed like several 4 man or split 8mans (2 x 4man sync dropping). We lost a few in a row. It may not have been the case, but the other teams worked very together.

So we drop into River City Assault and the usual comes up “We are XXX”. “We are recruiting”. “We have 7 on comms, join us and you wont be stomped like you are about to be”

MY buds and and I went “well okay, looks like another fun one.” I type into team chat, “3 man here, any groups here?” 2 or 3 actually replied, “no” or “not here” or “sorry..” so we figured were it for co-ordination unless there was a 2 man that didn’t speak up.

After the start up animation, we quickly determined the 2 that did not reply were really solo as they took their spider and commando and ran right into the enemy dying before I got half way up the 3 blocks. We said on comms “well, this will be over fast.”

Within a few minutes, both team were fully engaged in a nasty little brawl. The “recruiting team” had an Atlas DDC and a Raven 3L that were wreaking havoc with our guys. One of my team mates on comms had a K2 with ERPPCs and just started popping them, killing off their ECM advantage. The battle went on and we won, 8-3.

In open chat, as the team scores screen came up, the guy that posted that they were recruiting posted. “gg. Are you guys recruiting? You guys were good!”

We cracked up on comms...
