I'm a pugger and got stomped a lot before the patch. Now...almost every match comes down to just a few standing. WAY MORE FUN! Thank you PGI.

BS..
Out of 12 matches last night..all but 2 were complete stomps..
When at the end you see a whole team dead with only one (or less) dead on the other team..it's a 'stomp', and that is what is happening on a regular basis..

Stomps still happen, but much less frequent, at least on my end.

I have to call BS too.
So far my experience has been nothing short of Miserable, with stomping after stomping (when the weeks before that I had some rough ones but did pretty good overall).
Giving it until the end of the week end to see how it goes, but not a step forward in my book so far.

The new MM has been working well for me. I still have some stomps here and there, but it seems like most games end with one team getting at least 4 kills. A surprising number of games have ended at 6-8 or 7-8. I think that some players have high Elos because they're genuinly good, while some have high Elos because they've been employing tactics (perhaps unintentionally) that are more effective against inexperience/unskilled players. I'm guessing that the stomps that some players are experiencing are due to inflated Elos (not necessarily their own). Things should smooth out within a week or so.

I think if you are getting rolled a lot, then your ELO score may have been a bit too high for whatever reason, or the system just needs more time to settle in and get everyone where they need to be. Give it time.

it seems ELO is working... also for groups.
I don t pug, or maybe i do very occasionally to quickly testing a config. There I do not care too much on how the game goes and usually doesn t go too well because i m testing something weird.
However, it seems it works for groups too, but it has an interesting backdraw.
You can easily find yourself in a team with Med and Lights while the enemy team is solid 4 Atlases and other Assaults.
I am mostly a Medium pilot. When i drop with my team either 8 or 4 men we usually have a certain variety of mechs. We do not drop the Min-Max.
It seems that when you see you are clearely outgunned and outwieght, solution for a bit of fight and then a CAP to win, is way less "dishonorable" than what it seems.
Buttom line, if we get an extremly heavy opponent and we are way lighter, i promise you, we will CAP... or at least will die trying.. lol.

I've liked the matches last two days. Some matches seem bit broken with bad mech balance, but not that bad overall.
